In the uncomfortably funny, unapologetically insensitive, cheerfully outrageous Jojo Rabbit, writer-director Waititi (“Thor: Ragnorak”) delivers a timely, anti-hate fractured fairy tale AND turns in hilarious work as Adolf Hitler, imaginary friend to a 10-year-old German boy near the end of World War II.

I consider the film to be absolutely incredible! From start to finish, it had me captivated with its compelling storyline, impressive visuals, and outstanding performances. The direction and cinematography were masterful, creating a visually stunning and immersive experience.

Waititi adopts a tone that’s wild enough to accommodate all possibilities, so that even while we’re laughing, we’re in a state of anxiety.

Johannson has never played a sweeter character on the screen, and she delivers an endearing performance.

Though it dabbles with the horror of the Third Reich it never examines their worst atrocities ... And that perhaps, is too careless in today’s world of a rising far right and stealth dictatorships. But if you’re looking for giddy escapism, Bowie tunes and an unapologetic good time with a side order of remembrance for of WW2, then you’ll have as much fun as the cast clearly had making this.

Jojo Rabbit has little to say about any of the things it dredges up, beyond the obvious.

Waititi is incapable of dealing with the twin horrors of oppression and indoctrination beyond cheap-seats sentimentality and joke-making.

This movie has everything! I randomly watched the movie during a flight, which means that I neither expected much, nor have I watched the trailer, but as soon as I landed Jojo Rabbit managed to become (probably) my favourite film of the past decade.
I laughed, I cried, I was delighted, and touched.
Brilliant performance by the actors, which had great chemistry amongst each other and pulled off a decent way to sound German in the English language without cheaply mocking it. (I am a native German speaker)
Great soundtrack and use of actual music and songs.
The movie has quite a layered point to make, which easily eludes you if only watching once (or on a plane for that matter). Regarding the criticism I've read online:
This is not supposed to be a lighthearted Schindlers Liste, nor a mocking comedy about ****.
It is something special on its very own with a unique take on WWII through the eyes of a little boy that wants to fit in with all the other ****. By taking that lens it manages to display the horrors (that were visible to a child back then) in a funny way, simply by taking them naively serious. Everyone I've showed this movie so far liked it a lot, Jewish and German alike.

Es muy chula, muy bonita, puede que llores. Pero tampoco va más allá, ni quiere.

No, this is not a bad film, but as a man whose grandfather fought on the wrong side (he was a Soviet soldier), it’s sometimes unpleasant to watch. Maybe if I were an American, I would put the movie 8 or even 9. Of course, when in the film the **** say that Russians eat children and **** dogs, it's okay, because it is **** propaganda. But when in the end of the film you see, that they was wrong only with dogs, it's make me sad. No, of course, they did not eat the jojo, I said it to sound better, but they tried to execute him, which is also not good. And the jojo survived, only thanks to a good ****. Do you know what else is insulting? The turning point in the war was after the landing in Italy by the Americans and the British. The city in which the jojo lives was taken by the Americans (it is their flag that appears in the film every time around is fun and good). And only when need to do some dirty work Soviet soldiers appear in the film.
A great work has been done by the propaganda of all countries to dispel myths about the Jews. And that's fine, they now even have their own state. But the state of Soviet people is destroyed, and the myths of the Goebbels time are gaining strength.
Short afterword:
Sorry, if you see somewhere grammatical or punctuation or lexical or any other mistake, I’m not a native speaker of English, I’m only learning. I would probably give the film 8 points, even if it just did not have the Soviet army, well, the Americans won and okay, it's somehow more familiar.

Suyu sıkılmış bir konunun işlendiği bir yapım daha. Bari iyi işlense ama bence tam bir vakit kaybı.

I didnt laugh at all. The humour is so simple, no thanks. The story is also not interesting, in the end they are making **** ridiculous and US Soldiers liberate countries, so it stinks propaganda. The characters are simple with only few little exceptions. Wasted 2 hours
