In Stereo

Starts out as though it’s gearing up for romantic comedy terrain, but quickly confounds your expectations.

Fortunately, Beau Garrett brightens things up with her performance as the neurotic Brenda.

The film is just another fantasy of living only the good portions of the life of an artist.

In Stereo is not without its merits, but it doesn't really get going until the last ten minutes, which play like the opening of a movie that would be much more interesting than the one that preceded them.

This is a tedious modern romance that thinks it’s spouting universal truths when it’s actually as myopically narcissistic as the two leads.

The film isn’t remotely funny or insightful enough to justify spending an hour and a half in such intensely disagreeable company.

Films don't have to feature likable people to be successful. Far from it. But a film has to let us know why we want to watch these people. Like its lead character, In Stereo does not want to do the necessary work.
