A raw horror masterpiece from a first-time director that deserves to be mentioned in the same frantic breath as the genre’s greats. Even the most jaded viewer should find something in Hereditary to disturb and distress them.

I think this is better than the conjuring in terms of scares and getting your heart elevated. The ending is so fantastic that when I watched it I remembered gripping my seat and grinding my feet on floor... Its such sweet pleasure to watch a quality horror movie knowing that once it's done you can just turn on the lights and go to bed dreaming of a nightmare that you just watched!!

At more than two hours, it’s simply too long. However, thanks to Collette’s work, “Hereditary” is a horror movie that really sinks its claws into you.

These days actors not only appear in bad movies, they are forced to produce their own flops themselves. Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne co-executive produced Hereditary. They deserve what they get, in spades.

Ok so it’s a decent movie. But overall pretty disturbing. It had some REALLY scary moments I will say though I felt very depressed watching it and I don’t know that I could watch it again. Not bad though like I said. Very unique and scary. First time I slept after that it definitely kept me up lol. Incredible acting as well.

Keine Ahnung was die Leute in dem Film gesehen haben, aber ich fand den einfach nur langweilig und schlecht. Das Mädchen hat mich mit ihrer Art auch richtig hart genervt. Die hat sich anscheinend grundlos wie der letzte Mensch benommen.
