Ultimately, David is a strong, solid film for kids. But I can’t help feeling the filmmakers were holding back on the true glory of God in this story.

Saw it twice with my family. Was an amazing movie.. even though the story was well known, it still kept you in anticipation. The animation quality was top tier and the songs were addictive. Must see for anyone!

When the movie tries to be serious, it does impress. Its up there with Prince of Egypt, glad to finally see a film somewhat follow the example of that movie. You see those negative reviews? You see how they didnt even write an explanation? They probably hating because the movie is Christian.

It comes off, it plays and it entertains. And the impressive, high-end Sunrise Animation Studio production values — realistic landscapes, clever character designs and tje scale of a capital city under construction (Gibeah, pre-Jerusalem) — are just the icing on the cake.

I picked up Angel on sale, received a free movie ticket. Enjoyed the film fo learn about David, the musical fun,beautiful art work and family filled love. This movie has me wanting to learn more about God's chosen people, their culture and struggles in modern day.
