While far from the cream of the mockumentary crop, it's still a pleasant diversion.

A spoof, sometimes a funny one, and sometimes just plain overkill.

Would have worked better if it had stuck more closely to real estate as the source and target of satire.

Closing Escrow can't even execute the bare-bones requirements of mediocre mockumentaries, as its unbelievably quirky characters' not-funny behavior is punctuated with awkward silences and L.A. clichés.
