Circus Maximus is a curiosity and a career footnote more than a substantial freestanding film achievement, which is too bad. It's more a notion for a work of art than a work of art, and you can't expect people to pay $25 (the cost of a special engagement ticket opening weekend) for a notion.

Overall great experience and good music. It's very evident that Travis Scott took inspiration from Kanye West's Yeezus album from 2013. The movie shows the rapid evolution of the rap or hip-hop industry as the artists are know starting to become major stars in multiple industries. From being in commercials for trainers or sneakers to having their own brands and movies. Travis Scott's Circus Maximus could be either a stepping stone for all artists across the world or it could be a one off experience seeing an artist (or just a rap or hip-hop artist) having their own movie.
