The film’s message, which it wields like a war chain, is a timeless one: Don’t be such a dick to people because they look different from you. We all live in Bomb City: One stray match and the whole thing will explode.

Bomb City will keep you in its grasp during every moment leading to its climactic violence. And it won’t let go until the closing credits roll.

An empathetic drama ready to put straight-laced audiences in the shoes of a maligned subculture.

The message is lost in this laughably deck-stacked journey, a movie-long version of "They started it!"
