Essentially a romantic adventure story with politics in the background--an old-fashioned movie, I suppose, but exciting and stunningly well made.

Blood Diamond es una de esas películas que no solo cuentan una historia, sino que te obligan a mirarla de frente. Combina thriller, drama y crítica social de forma efectiva, sin suavizar lo que duele. Leonardo DiCaprio entrega una de sus actuaciones más intensas, pero es Djimon Hounsou quien carga el corazón emocional de la película. La narrativa mantiene tensión constante mientras expone una realidad brutal sobre la guerra, la explotación y el costo humano detrás del lujo. Impactante, necesaria y totalmente memorable.

One of the characteristics **** film is to keep the audience stuck with the movie all the way through, especially when the movie is long, and Blood Diamond is succeed on that, Blood Diamond is a frightening experience, fills with more of a brutallity than a action, it's nerve-wracking, it's incredible, DiCaprio and Hounsou is really powerful, and Connelly is just mesmerising, overall Blood Diamond is terrific.

DiCaprio, here as in "The Departed," proves himself the most watchful and watchable actor of his age. Since his teens, he has known how to make moral dilemmas seem both profound and sexy, and at 32 he just keeps getting better.

wow i'm just spell bound after watching this movie.. this movie is long but you will never feel that it is long.. it has so much intense in what it shows.. the actions scenes are entertaining and also the movie tells something which we are not aware of.. and leonardo is just amazing.. Djimon Hounsou is just great.. this is movie is something which everyone have to watch.. thumbs up!
