Asperger’s Are Us rarely stretches to be funny or poignant or touching, and that makes this documentary all the more of each.

The team's own comedy is an acquired taste. You'll appreciate these dudes for making the effort to literally break out of their comfort zones in order to change people's views on autism. However, there is a strong possibility you may not laugh at or with them during this whole doc.

A sweet and likeable documentary about a foursome of ambitious young men and their adventures/hardships of performing their comedy skit shows. The film serves as an inspirational piece for all, not just those who happen to have aspergers syndrome.

It wasn't the worst documentary I seen but it wasn't good either. I do respect the group's dedication to their comedy but the comedy itself fell flat and I found the documentary's attempt at trying to connect the audience to the four main guys as forced and contrived. It felt like the documentary was trying to make the comedy troupe and people with Asperger's come across as special instead of simply treating them as regular people. As someone on the spectrum, I find that bad and a bit alienating. I don't want to be treated or seen as special or anything wildly different, I just want to be like everyone else. All in all, the documentary was okay but not good. It was just meh, nothing more and nothing less.
