Uno (2016)
The PS4 version of Uno is an average offering that doesn’t take advantage of the fact that it’s a digital game.
Uno makes for a good alternative to the type of fare typically seen on a console. Despite its simple rules, it remains fun thanks to the decent AI and the good-sized online community. It may not be as cheap as the Xbox 360 release was, but if you're looking for a fun card game on the PS4, you can't go wrong with Uno.
Quotation forthcoming.

It’s Uno… I don’t think I can say anything more than that. There are some special rules that can exist if it is enabled and does a good job at spicing things up.

I love the game a lot but I only wanted to leave this rating because the game lags every time I play. I usually play this game for about a half hour to an hour and there would be times where the game will freeze. You either have to wait for it to u nfreeze which would take quite a while. Other times you'll just have to leave

You need to be lucky to actually finish an online game and do not encounter cards sticking on the screen or loose the server connection at various stages. Ubisoft account needed for unstable server connection, thanks for that. I am really surprised one can pack so many bugs in such a low function game. The basic Uno experience and especially the DLC are therefore not worth the money

I was really pleased with this new offering of Uno. It’s one of those games that I will forever be opening up for a few quick matches

While not the best multiplayer experience (see various other reviews for details) this is still an enjoyable single-player experience. The game won't break the bank and can easily amuse for a few hours. The variety of basic content is small and the DLC card packs actually contain new features. However given that it costs less than £5/$7 this is a small issue.

Ultimately, if you enjoy Uno then you’ll probably enjoy this version of it.

The popular board game comes again with a lots of fun, entertainment and its unique style. If you enjoyed playing it with your friends, you will really like this videogame version.

As with many classic board and card games, Uno isn’t perfect. It’s driven by luck, games tend to go overlong, and Ubisoft’s no-frills approach is workable, but workmanlike. Despite that, I do really enjoy the core game of Uno in short bursts, and for people who regularly play online with family and friends (and can thus do away with the occasionally irritating random players), this is a great, low-cost way to spend a Saturday evening together when separated by distance.

It's Uno. On PlayStation 4. Nothing more, nothing less. What you do with that information, is entirely up to you.

Uno is a great card game, however this version fails to understand the social aspects of card games. It shines if you have friends to play it with, otherwise it's a bit of a bore.

I think Uno is a great addition to consoles of any generation. Yes, the multi-play could use some sharpening and simplification overall. However, it is still a fun game to play and has some good variations in the types of games which can be played. If a person is looking to kill some time and play a classic fun card game on the console, Uno is the game to definitely buy. One con I will mention though is the pricing. $14.99 is a bit steep for a simple card game but not a deal breaker.

they messed it up. Uno was a game on xbox live arcade on the 360, and it was glorious. all they had to do, was take the XBL version of uno from about a decade ago, and put it on ps4 and xbox one. instead, they messed up. 1. all cards are highlighted rather than just ones you can play. this makes no sense. if you can only play 2 of your 7 cards, it will still highlight all of them. this is a huge change from the 360 version, which would kinda grey out cards you couldn't use. 2. video chat is friends only. probably the worst issue in the game right now, is that video chat (which was one of the huge things in uno for 360) is impossible to set to public. the best part of uno back then was all the whacky things you would see in video chat, and just chilling with randoms as you play some cards. it's impossible in this game, so this game is not worth it unless you like just plain uno. 5/10 is average, this is below average. so it gets a 3/10. if they fix video chat and fix the cards blacking out it would easily be a 7+/10
