Overall, I was deeply and thoroughly impressed and entertained by Twisted Tower, which has become my new favorite game of the year. I highly recommend it to fans of BioShock, horror, or anyone looking for an incredibly unique and memorable gaming experience. The combat is fun, the level design and enemies are immaculate, and the setting is something that is certain to stick with you long after you’ve beaten the game, just like a recurring nightmare.

Does not reinvent the wheel or show anything novel, but Twisted Tower is a fun adventure with a very simple gameplay loop and combat mechanic.

Twisted Tower is a quick-paced and strong old-school shooter, taking inspiration from some 'classics', and Bioshock. It doesn't overstay its welcome, keeps you progressing and has a story that may surprise you at the end. While it doesn't surpass games like Bioshock, for a tiny (mostly solo) developer, it does everything it wants to as good as it can, and well worth picking up for that reason alone.

Twisted Tower is the classic FPS you always wanted, with a charming horror theme park setting and some seriously ridiculous guns.

Thomas Brush and a small team have put together an homage to BioShock and other classic shooters. But Twisted Tower has its own set of party tricks and surprises, too. It’s one of those games where a developer’s enthusiasm for a genre leads to a perfect alignment of fresh and familiar. Twisted Tower is a must-play for fans of BioShock, classic first-person shooters, haunted carnivals, and evil amusement parks.

A decent FPS throwback, Twisted Tower mostly stumbles on uneven gun feel, a nonsensical story and some cliché art direction.

Sloppy, buggy, and derivative, Twisted Tower can offer only a few moments of diversion despite a refreshingly short runtime. Instead, it furnishes its baffling world with constant reminders or just how little thought and intention has gone into its development.

Twisted Tower dose what it's promising. If you want a good shooter that reminds you of bioshock, Twisted Tower is that game a short and fun experience good enough for it’s price. It could have a litte flaws and better, but it is perfect for what it is. A Good Fps, just like the old days. 100% Recommended if you want a fun and Twisted experience.

A decent if brief bioshocky shooter that does about the bare minimum to be enjoyable and intriguing.
