Time Loader is a great game for just about anyone to play. As long as you're not expecting action-filled gameplay, but rather a relaxing journey, there is barely a reason not to give the game a shot.

I really loved the nostalgic vibes and the sudden ending – it was so satisfying and heart-warming, I couldn't stop crying!

Even though the story serves as yet another example of why one shouldn’t trifle with time travel, the fun involved makes turning the clock back to 1995 seem pretty enticing. From solid physics to flawlessly detailed environments, Time Loader takes the player on a wild ride through the past and launches the neglected 2D puzzle-platformer genre into the future like a speeding DeLorean leaving flame trails in its wake.

Side-scrolling through a suburban household as a tiny robot in Time Loader provides an immensely satisfying environmental puzzle-platforming experience that more than makes up for the weak endings.

A well made game with a great premise and enjoyable elements, Time Loader is well worth a playthrough for fans of puzzle platformers.

Despite a few shortcomings, over the course of a playthrough, Time Loader proves itself to be a game worth trying out for those interested in its concept. The story is smart and, in true time travel fashion, has multiple ways in which it can come to a close. All of this is presented alongside a solid gameplay core which makes for a fun, if short, jaunt through a sci-fi tale.

Ultimately, Time Loader is a beautiful-looking, wonderful-sounding game, with some fun gameplay. It's let down by a story that focuses on a character without making them engaging, the lack of challenge that comes with the puzzles, and everything being in service of the game's least engaging aspect. It is unfortunately quite a short game as well. My initial run-through clocked in at about 2.6 hours. So a recommendation here is really based on what you want for your money. If you're fine with slightly un-challenging, hand-holdy at times gameplay and a story that looks pretty but doesn't go anywhere, pick it up! If you want a little more bang for your buck, maybe wait it out to see if Flazm adds anything interesting. Honestly, this game has a lot of potential to be good, if they just rework the story and maybe add some challenge levels.

Time Loader is a narrative-driven platformer with puzzle elements, featuring an interesting story, a charismatic protagonist, and an “extra seasoning” involving changes to timelines. Despite the promising premise, the adventure feels somewhat monotonous and lonely, and the physics can be frustrating when interacting with objects and tackling platforming challenges.Overall, the game has a lighter, more “cozy” vibe, and most of the puzzles are simple (though one or two will really make you rack your brain). The first playthrough is relatively short (around 4 hours), but at the end the game unlocks the ability to select timelines and moments in time, allowing you to revisit specific sections and try to improve them (yes, the game has 3 possible endings, plus 1 secret). Some items can only be collected if you make changes in an earlier timeline, which adds another layer of complexity if you’re aiming for the best endings and also boosts replay value. The secret ending has an “interesting twist,” but at the same time it requires interaction “outside the game,” which can be an **** graphics are generally not bad (with the exception of the cat), the voice acting is good, but the soundtrack is somewhat depressing. One issue I noticed is the lack of support for higher resolutions without “black bars,” like in movies (the maximum supported height is currently 1080p).Time Loader is not a bad game; it has interesting ideas, but in my view it doesn’t feel technically polished.

The game isnt bad, and just for that im giving it an average of 5. However, the developer seems to have removed negative reviews from its steam page, and isnt updating its metacritic score on it, being lower than the advertised 84, probably done when it had only 3 or 4 reviews. Its false advertisement. Good game, but scammy developer. Wouldnt trust them with my money.

I was attracted by the fact that the incentive was rated as much as 84.
