Pyrene plays fast and the idea of making everything, from the player-controlled hero to enemies, objectives, and items, a card set in a square is a nice twist on familiar mechanics. The core loop is easy to understand but takes time and concentration to master. Even better, gamers can always tweak the difficulty of their next run to suit their taste. The rogue-lite elements are solid but lack the same level of innovation. The Basque lore and the title’s presentation enhance immersion. Pyrene could have taken a few extra risks with its structure but the moment-to-moment card action is tense and fun.

À un système de jeu intéressant se greffent plusieurs mécanismes qui rendent chacune de vos aventures uniques. La quantité phénoménale de cartes et de reliques offrent des combinaisons quasi infinies, des personnages uniques qui vous obligeront à repenser vos tactiques et des environnements et des conditions climatiques qui amènent leur lot de règles spéciales. Malgré sa courte durée, Pyrene offre une tonne d’options de personnalisations qui prolongeront le plaisir. Derrière ses nombreuses couches se trouve un jeu assez accessible qui plaira tant aux novices qu’aux vétérans du genre. Pour à peine 15$, vous pourrez vous procurer ce jeu surprenant auquel je donne la note de 8.5 sur 10. ManowarKill

I am impressed. I'm actually a bit burnt out with deckbuilders, and I feel like I've seen a thousand slight variations of the same tricks. Pyrene, however, manages to surprise me with a plethora of genuinely clever mechanics, and an overall fresh take on the genre. The game is very slick in its user interface and readability. It's one of those games where you just boot it up for the first time and you start playing, and everything makes sense. It does get mechanically complex though, which is a good thing. Pyrene is an excellent game, and most importantly, it's a lot of fun to play. I can safely recommend this game to any card game enthusiast or roguelite fan.

Only worth 10 dollar. -repetitive turn based rogue lite card game, depend on rng, simple story, after 6 hours u will bored then rest 2 week and return continue the game to finish it. -good amount of characters to unlocked, u can change and play with difficulties as u like.
