Park Beyond is one of the best theme park simulators I have played. It does miss some features I would have liked to see, such as theme park minigames and a more on-ground experience, but what it does is done well. The coaster-building systems are great, and the business management systems have a lot of depth. The price is a little steep, but I definitely recommend getting the game whenever it is on sale. It might even be a great game on the Steam Deck if compatible.

Whilst offering up very little from its clear influences, Park Beyond is a fun and visually thrilling theme park sim that offers a central mechanic which gives it quite the edge in the genre. It’s still hair-tearingly frustrating in places but has enough creativeness and inventiveness about it to hold the attention of long-term theme park simulator fans.

This game could have been on par with Theme Park or Rollercoaster Tycoon and maybe someday – after numerous patches – it will be. But for now, it is a disappointment to all the fans of amusement parks, rollercoasters, and haunted houses.

Dunno what happen during the launch day, based on 2026 patch,i barely encounter any bug at all. This game is the closest thing to RCT3 ive ever played.Feels bad for the state they're in right now. Then again, only natural-born high creativity people will understand/truly enjoyed these type of games anyways. And if one ever does, this genre is actually one of the most fun ive ever had in video games

Top notch park builder which includes a little bit of story to keep things from being too repetitive. I can see the controls being a bit overwhelming for some people to wrap their head around, but once you are familiar with the controls everything is fine.

Where do I even begin? I'm so impressed with this game I had to look for a site (Metacritic) that I could tell everyone to go buy this game. No it's not a Planet Coaster killer, no it's nothing like we've experienced before. The opening Tutorial is annoying at times, but takes no longer then 30 minutes. It's within this first 30 minutes you'll make your decision whether to love it or hate it. You realize very quick this is not our ordinary Roller Coaster Building Simulation Game, it's far more in depth, creative, and actually has a plot? Like I said, you either love it, or hate it. I loved it, and I've been enjoying Roller Coaster Tycoon, Planet Coaster, all our favorite simulators that paved the course for this new gem. I like the features you can add onto ordinary rides that make them extraordinary. I enjoy the idea of following a story line, and plot rather than just choosing missions and completing all the goals. This way it's actually enjoyable to have some kind of substance behind the openness of creating an amusement park. Of course we still have the option of Sandbox mode to be as creative as we see fit. As for performance and graphics, it uses the Unreal Engine, which if you know causes for some of the best graphics in the industry, while still performing very well. For example, I'm running it on Medium/High specs on my 8 year old Acer Aspire Laptop. I had it running on "Epic" settings just fine, but I'd rather higher framerates then stunning graphics. That being said, if you've enjoyed Planet Coaster and grew up playing Roller Coaster Tycoon and Sims then I highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of this bad boy. It's different from anything we've seen before in this genre, but isn't that the entire idea of progressing, to be different but in the right way? Well, they've done it!

Entertaining amusement park manager with extensive roller coaster construction and encouraging upgrade system. Accessibility is more important than realism.

Park Beyond has a very powerful theme park editor and gives the player a great deal of freedom. Unfortunately, the management component is not as deep and lacks unpredictability, two things that limit the longevity of this type of experience.

Park Beyond really knows how to add something to the genre with its original attractions, without going completely crazy. The foundation is also surprisingly solid, with intuitive mechanics to manage your park's finances and human resources. But due to the lack of diversity in attractions, the poor control when placing objects and a handful of bugs, the full potential is not yet fully realized.

Park Beyond delivers a captivating theme park adventure with innovative concepts and stunning visual design. The engaging campaign, featuring pitch meetings and diverse themes, will keep you invested and motivated. The impossification mechanic adds a unique twist, allowing you to create mind-bending roller coasters. However, the game is marred by technical issues, including game-crashing bugs and a lack of support for set pieces and decorations. Despite these shortcomings, Park Beyond’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity is commendable. With updates and improvements, it has the potential to become a standout title in the genre, offering an immersive and imaginative experience.

Even with its twisted takes on nostalgic ride designs and copious whimsical fanfare, I was left feeling deflated by Park Beyond's business-oriented objectives and lack of investment in unbridled player creativity. For a game that endeavors to push the limits of your imagination, it's a little too concerned with whether you’re tall enough to ride.

As much as it inspires fun, the larger your theme park ambitions grow, the more Park Beyond throws extreme roadblocks in your way. There is still hope it finds a more wholesome balance in the future, but for now, the quest for the perfect park feels unfairly locked away.

Despite making an excellent first impression, Park Beyond ends in a downward spiral that's exciting in a coaster, but lethal in an economy.

A game that bad that I actually created a Metacritic account to warn others from buying it! Where do I start, the game in concept sounds fantastic fun and I was expecting something along the lines of Planet Coaster which is an amazing game. However, THIS IS NOT Planet Coaster. The design and layout is clunky and its even difficult to navigate the various options on screen whilst using a joypad due to the confusing button combinations and multi level menu systems. It sadly doesn't end there though, the audio is constantly glitching out and stuttering whilst playing the game, to the point it begins to feel like nails on a chalk board. It doesn't end there either, The graphics have regular glitches and paths of different design and function will often clash giving a weird blend of colours and visitors not knowing how to navigate the paths. The whole game should not have been released in its current state and honestly I think this is the worst game available in terms of functionality and playability at present. I would genuinely say this game is in a worse state than Cyberpunk was, and we all know how that ended. Avoid this game for a year or so, and hopefully by then it will have been fixed. Either that or you will be able to pick it up for a fiver as its not currently worth anywhere near the £50 I paid for it.
SummaryIn Park Beyond, you can create the park of your dreams without being held back by gravity! Take the role of a newly-hired visionary architect for a struggling company and create mind-twisting theme parks. You can create the rides you have always dreamed about but that couldn't exist in real life. Team up with Phil, the enthusiastic park... Read More
