My Oozi: Earth Adventure Video Review: ****/rVRdbm7GmIc Does this intergalactic trip of cute little alien to our home planet make a good old school action platformer? There are many positives on the game - instant gameplay, good level design, variability of the game environment, wide variety of enemies, the game constantly serves new ideas and mechanics, good system of checkpoints, four levels of difficulty that one can choose from, responsive controls most of the time, beautiful hand-drawn graphics and nice music. As for the negatives, there are not many of them - very basic story that is not really developed further, sometimes the strange reactions to your commands while jumping, only few dull sounds and the absence of dubbing. There is no local multiplayer in the game which would make it more suitable for family playing but there are more than 40 short levels in challenge mode where you can compare your skills with your friends or family members. Otherwise, the game is suitable even for pre-school kids with choosing the right level of difficulty. Pros: - instant gameplay - level design - variability of the environment - wide variety of enemies - the game serving new mechanics as you progress - system of checkpoints - four levels of difficulty - responsive controls - hand-drawn graphics - music Cons: - story - sometimes strange reactions to jump - sounds - absence of dubbing - no local multiplayer Oozi: Earth Adventure doesn’t bring any revolution to the genre but it delivers the exact gameplay that one would expect in this genre. I have enjoyed this cute little action platformer and thus I am giving it Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s Index 8 out of 10 - recommended!

It's a bit hard to judge, as it's a game essentially without challenge. The game production, however, is very good: the atmosphere resembles very much 16-bit games like Superfrog, and the controls are tight.

Good but simple platform game, it doesn't offer much challenge unless you are looking for achievements, some can be quite tough. The game is not long either, it took me around 4 hours to finish
