Very nice surprise when you pick up a game and don't expect much, then it turns out to be an absolute gem. The visuals and sound deserve plenty of praise. This 2D pixel art style is getting a lot of traction in the indie space. But when it works it works, Good stuff. There is a bit of a story, not much. And even though it leans into the humour, it's not super deep. Story is a side note, considering this is all about the gameplay. It is a very simple 2D platformer, but the concept of fighting fires works very well. First run through did feel a bit simple and easy, however the new game plus did offer a little bit more than other titles. Simple premise, simple gameplay centred around a fun story. And super cheap! Looking forward to seeing what this developer Does next.a
