Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
I’ve been playing versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator since the early days and the detail and complexity has come along leaps and bounds. Piloting requires a lot more attention to details and precision in controls now compared to early versions but being able to see a fully fleshed out airport rather than a few squares and lines on the screen is a real treat. It is a truly visually stunning game (my son actually looked across at one point and thought I was watching a video)… but it can be quite detailed in controls as well. If you like your sims with a decent dose of realism then this might be up your alley. If you prefer very simple flight mechanics then you might want to give it a miss. Either way I’d recommend checking patch notes for whether you are comfortable grabbing a copy, or at least wait for a sale if you are concerned about game crashes.
Incredible visuals and so many activities it's tough to keep up with them all, Flight Simulator 2024 delivers a heck of an experience for flight sim enthusiasts. Yes, you can question if it should have just been a patch to the 2020 series or not, but it's not enough to deter me from saying that this one is worth picking up for all the upgrades.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is an unique feat of engineering with elements of a game. We get another graphical revolution that – as revolutions tend to do – is quite bumpy. But at the same time it allows you to feel like a professional pilot or simply have fun by flying directly over your house.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was marketed as a major evolution of the franchise, but in practice it feels more like an unfinished expansion than a true next-generation simulator. Despite impressive visuals, the experience is plagued by technical issues that severely impact enjoyment.Performance is inconsistent even on high-end systems, with frequent stutters, long loading times, and occasional crashes. The heavy reliance on online services makes the simulator frustrating to use when servers are unstable, leading to missing scenery, slow downloads, or forced restarts. Many core systems feel shallow or poorly implemented. Aircraft systems lack the depth expected by serious simmers, and flight models can feel inconsistent or unrealistic in certain conditions. The new career-style activities quickly become repetitive and feel more like gimmicks than meaningful gameplay **** user interface remains cluttered and unintuitive, making simple tasks unnecessarily complicated. Controller and hardware configuration is still confusing, especially for users with advanced setups, and key bindings often reset or behave unpredictably.Overall, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 prioritizes visual spectacle over stability, realism, and usability. At its current state, it feels rushed and unpolished, leaving long-time fans disappointed and cautious about its future updates.

Incomplete and incomprehensibleWhoever rates this garbage higher than 4 must have been an microsoft bot. I just cant imagine anyone having a good experience with fs24. Yeah the missions can be fun but: Game-breaking bugs, poor performance, mandatory online connection, recycled world from FS2020 with the same bad algorithms (crooked rivers, broken airports, etc ) The career mode feels like a beta where no one thought about gameplay or user experience.Awful AI dialogue and voice acting. At the beginning, it's an absolute grind for almost no progress or credits. 4 hours of flying for practically no money in the **** company mode is confusing, poorly designed, and still lacks a well-structured menu where everything is in one place .No visual damage model. generated AI voices and poor, sometimes pointless, texts with AI (ahh wait i said that already, ups). Random flight **** everything missionrelated I just mentioned (I've mostly flown planes) is even worse with helicopters (imagine having to taxi with a heli and loosing reputation because you cant with a heli......). The electric VTOLs added for advertising purposes are even worse. No proper anti-aliasing, just temporal, which makes instrument numbers blur (DLSS is even worse). i dont know why my text gets **** when i didnt use one foul word

wow this game is almost perfect, sometimes bad ground graphics in some area's. And the pricing is a bid high but bisides that its perfect realy much planes airports and every peace of land is renderd. i love this game so much. the career mode is rly good. if u add some add ons its even better ul get real buildings and everything. also ivao or vatsim works rly well with it and makes iteven funner. if u have enough storage and money i should rly buy this. therefore my 9/10 rating.

Flight Simulator 2024 is an interesting title not only for aviation enthusiasts, but also for players who want to explore the world from above and admire its beauty. The new title has many attractive features, such as photography, different pilot jobs and new types of aircraft, including balloons and airships. It's just a shame that the game often uploads additional data.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is undeniably ambitious, but its execution feels more like a modest upgrade than a revolutionary sequel. In many ways, it feels like a tweaked, cloud-streamed version of Flight Simulator 2020, with only minor changes to the core gameplay. That said, the addition of casual-friendly features such as entertainment-focused modes and a structured career system provide a welcome sense of direction for lighter players. At the very least, these updates save newcomers from the common dilemma of aimlessly taking off from their local airport with no clear idea of what to do next.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a diamond in the rough, still waiting to be fully discovered. Despite launch issues and some questionable technical decisions, the game offers a great concept that can be enjoyed by both veteran simulation enthusiasts and newcomers to this type of experience. Straddling the line between video game and simulator, its greatest strength is also its main flaw, given the proximity of its previous game, whose shadow still looms over this ambitious bid for a bright future.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a game with huge potential, using stunning advanced technology and stunning visuals. It aims to provide a one-to-one representation of Earth, complete with full virtual reality support. However, its launch has had technical issues like non-functioning servers, long loading times, crashes, and bugs. Despite this, the game's engaging career mode and breathtaking experiences when they work are a sight to behold. The game's performance problems and the need for more optimization, especially in virtual reality, can be a challenge. It's best to have a high-end PC, fast internet, and plenty of patience.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers enough innovations to justify its arrival, with an impressive career mode and endless options to lose yourself in the skies for hours. However, weak localization, clunky AI voices, and long loading times show that perfection is not yet within reach.

We have been playing Flight Simulator for about thirty years and watched the game undergo a tremendous evolution. The pixels of yesteryear became more and more realistic, and we spent many hours in the virtual cockpit. But now... sigh. Let's start with the beginning: after the huge download, it took us a good hour to get past the loading screen. The times after that were slightly faster, but in the meantime you can quietly do the dishes. That you need a powerful PC, we understand: the more realistic, the more computing power. But in addition, you need a fast Internet connection, because the game world is downloaded live. Our connection is on the moderate side, and so is our gaming enjoyment. So until an update comes along that fixes this, we are in a no-fly zone.

I play it and I love it. But it’s utterly broken for many, it’s a disgrace and MS and Asobo should be ashamed.

I got very disappointed by this game, it's literally UNPLAYABLE for how broken this game is. Maybe it's my laptop that can't run the game or something but loading screens takes way too long, and character customization is bad, and also the translation gets bugged when you have audio in english but the interface language in a different language. and I couldn't even try it because it constantly crashes. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was way better and this game feels more like a DLC to that game.

After successful landing did taxi skip move aircraft into hangar and destroyed it. Insurance payout was also bugged, I got 30K to fund a 190k cost of bringing aircraft into original condition. They should just deactivate losing(or damaging) aircraft until they are SURE bugs won`t destroy aircraft. I was rewarded for doing a successful mission for 2 hours with the lose of an aircraft and the tanking of my reputation. When I tried to sell the remains of my aircraft did it trigger a bug...This is completely unacceptable, have never in my live been as furious towards a game as I`m right now. ONLY take away peoples aircraft if you are ABOLUTELY SURE it is their and not the developers fault it crashed!!! This is just the most serious of many bugs I encountered in career mode. Don`t get me wrong in many ways is this a beautiful, realistic and detailed sim BUT it feels like one released YEARS before it is ready.
