Meccha Chameleon feels like a “forever game” in a sea of party games on Steam, and part of its appeal is all thanks to its inventive twist on the hide-and-seek genre. The best part is that it’s only the beginning for this viral sensation as more copies are being sold every day. Its low price point, paired with endless community mod support, can even draw in non-gamers because it’s such a low-risk purchase that’s well worth gifting to friends on a boring Friday night.

Even with its blemishes, Meccha Chameleon's game of competitive camouflage is a multiplayer experience that exceeds its friendslop trappings.

Meccha Chameleon delivers fantastic, creative chaos for next to nothing. The menus and servers are a mess, but the gameplay twist is pure gold.

As expected. This game plays as expected, though in all honesty the UI is awful. It isn't too bad because you get used to it, but to learn to use it initially was terrible. Glad to see they are fixing things as the game ages. A good game with friends.

Overall this indie hide-and-go-seek game, "MECCHA CHAMELEON", is probably one of the best games I have played so far this year, I really love the game mechanics like the emotes, and painting, I love how terribly you have to blend in with whatever object, wall, ceiling or floor your hiding onto, I love the how the hunter mechanics are very good as well, I love when you shoot the shotgun it splatters rainbow colors around the room, i love how you can pick whatever color you can paint, i love how you can add roughness or metallic to your canvas player, this is definitely worth spending your money on if you want to spend some time with friends or a duo.
