Acceptable gameplay, repetitive music, unmemorable maps and simple stories. However, the design of the characters and the variety of their moves kept me hooked on this game. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes collecting and releasing characters. But be careful as the game can become repetitive in its gameplay.

Massive volumes of characters to collect, from dragons, to ships, to weird black cyclopes. This game is perhaps the most fun I ever had. And on reply holds up really well. This game is truly the definition of a hidden gem. I'm expecting that the people that reviewed this game in the past focused on analysing the games story and didn't really vibe with the capture mechanics. The sheer variety and creativity of game mechanics is staggering for a game that came out so many years ago. It put's gatcha games in the modern era to shame.

This is a hidden gem that me and my friends had tons of fun with back in the day.

Yes, it is definitely repetitive and could use a make over. But I rather play this game, than the other gatcha game garbage that is out there. I had a real blast and joy playing this. Even when I pick it up after putting it down for so long, I got HOOKED.

The critics back then didnt know what they were talking about smh. This game was so innovative it was and is a much needed breath of fresh air. Its so many characters that you fight and unlock each feeling very unique. You can tell a lot if love went into this game and it will always be one of my favorites.

The story's quite bland and cliché, the dub's awful, but the gameplay and it's elements are amazing. If you don't mind these two negative factors, you can have fun with this game.

Gotcha Force is the kind of cult classic that deserves more recognition. The sheer number of unique characters is staggering. While specific characters don't have huge depth, there are so many "borgs" that finding a play style that has long lasting fun and appeal is easy. This game definitely has flaws, but it is the best hidden gem for the GameCube and definitely needs a sequel.

Amazing game full of good content, the graphics are perfect for the style (tiny robots), super fun gameplay, tons of different characters and an awesome multiplayer, only rivaled by Nintendo's first party finest. I would recommend this game to anyone

Great and fun! Its like shooting down everything in your path! Though this has cons bad camera angles I can barely attack someone in front of me and the voice actors are annoying like eating rotten rats from the junkyard! so I give it a 7

One of the best games in existence with a large variety of playable robots with each type offering a different way to play makes this game create a standard no other game has reached since. Simply put the "professional" reviewers who gave this game a low score should be ashamed of themselves.

Great combat, millions of combination for your teams and some real variety in gameplay this game pretty much consumed my gamecube. Sure there were other games such as zelda and such but I beat this game 10 times to unlock the hidden characters. The storyline was garbage but the gameplay made up for it so well that it really didn't matter. Not only did it have some fun co-op but it have 4 player split screen versus which amused my friends and I for hours on end. If you ever find this in the used bin, pick it up, you won't regret it.
