As a handheld game, Fruit Ninja worked fine, but as a 360 title it's a briefly fun but very shallow affair that will leave most hungry for something more. [Issue#76, p.103]

On Kinect, Fruit Ninja is a nice experience that show its repetitiveness really too quickly, and at the 800 MP price point results hard to recommend.

Any way you peel it, Fruit Ninja Kinect is a bare bones game about swinging your arms at flying produce. If you're too proud to see the stupid amusement in doing as much, you will hate it. For those of us wanting a bit of silly, mostly mindless fun, it's a refreshing new way to work up a sweat and look like an idiot.

A thoroughly enjoyable game on many levels. Kinect is definitely the best suited platform for this game. Ideal for parties and social events due to its entertaining party mode. However, it is a minigame and $10 is way too steep. Not a great value package but that would be my only complaint. It is original and undeniably fun so if you're prepated to pay normal game prices then it's a must have for all ages.

It lacks game modes. The game modes that it does have are too generic and similar to each other. It gets boring rather quickly as well. Its not that much with a friend either. Its just a generic kinect game, Nothing more.

Its actually a rather generic game. Its not bad, Its actually quite enjoyable. But all you literally do is just wave your arms to chop the fruit, It gets boring after a while. Especially when it lacks other modes as well.

It's a perfect time waster that doesn't take much in the way of set-up to get into, and the Kinect functionality is really spot on.

With all sorts of fun score challenges, bonus fruits, combo rewards, and that big red fruit at the end of each session where you get to go crazy, Fruit Ninja Kinect is a great way to liven up any party or gaming night. And if you have younger kids; they are going to go Fruit Ninja crazy for this game. It's a bit over-priced, but still a worthy addition to your XBLA collection.

Bought this for my sons, ages 9 and 3, and they absolutely love this game. $10 may have been a little high on the asking price, but seeing how much fun they are having doing their "karate" its been well worth it.

If you love Fruit Ninja on your phone, then just wait till you play it on the Kinect! This game is great! The only complaint I have is navigating the menu, its almost too sensitive, so you'll chop an option or game mode you didn't want. Scrolling through the leader boards or "Sensei's Swag" is also a little tricky to get used to. Other than that, it is excellent! Fun for every age! The multiplayer is very fun, team play is definitely my favorite mode. A great buy in my opinion, I highly recommend it

Simple enough that anybody can play, incredibly addictive and offers short bursts of fun in both a single and multiplayer capacity, making it perfect for groups of all ages and skill levels. Quite simply, Fruit Ninja Kinect has all of the ingredients of a classic party game.

It's a brilliant use of Kinect, and it's the game they should use on shopfloors to show how responsive and intuitive the kit can be. But it's also 800MP for what amounts to a single motor function in a single mini-game. Even with leaderboard appeal, it's hard to whole-heartedly recommend.

A great game if you are training your kid to be a ninja. I used to be an ordinary sensai that had problems training my padawans, but now with this new "Fruit Ninja Kinect" they have became men. I endorse this product; fight on, fruit ninjas!

The game was excellent, but...rather difficult. The controls make it hard to play. If you're good at the iPhone version, don't you think you'll be good at this one. It's completely different. But hey, you get to act like a ninja. Who doesn't want to do that?

This is the right idea, Kinect Arcade games. But this is not the way to do it. Ten dollars for a crap mini game you'll tire of within minutes. Not a great way to start off Kinect on the arcade.
