Disco Simulator
As it stands, the framework of a promising tycoon game flickers beneath the strobe lights, but it struggles to justify the cover charge. Moments of satisfaction are undercut by clumsy onboarding and a lack of personality, leaving the whole experience feeling flatter than it should. Unfortunately, Disco Simulator hints at a better party than the one it ultimately throws.
Disco Simulator delivers the logistics of a night out with vibrant colors, but stumbles on the controls and forgets that a good party needs more than just three songs on loop.
Disco Simulator's approach to management is incredibly simple. Whilst you can tinker with a few facets, the two resources that matter can be easily acquired. Turning a profit requires little effort and reputation does tend to be handed to you. What remains is a game with very few stakes and, as such, I wasn't encouraged to change my gameplan. That led to something that felt tedious pretty quick.

A management sim with not enough variety, Disco Simulator is fun for a short while, but quickly becomes too repetitive to want to see it through to completion.
