I actually did play most of the Game, yeah, most. The Game is simply absolutly atrocius. Being woke is the least of the problems It has, even if It wasn't, i would maybe just maybe a 1/10 instead of a 0. The combat is atrocius and ultra simple, the animations are very buggy, the Game as a ton of Bugs that shows straight Up very novice stuff that shouldn't make It in a serius Game ( softlocks that requieres reset, subtitles overlaping which makes them ilegible etc ), the narrative is awful even if It didn't have woke elements, level design is awful, inintuitive at times and very boring. This Game is overall a complete abomination and by far the worst Game i've ever player. To be honest, i knew how bad It would be

Pointless game. It was obvious from start that it will be disaster and release just confirmed everything we suspected.

Well. A big 0 for me.
The teams only know how to do a map, which can be do automaticaly with Unreal tools.
This game have no souls, is fade and just deserve nothing to the player. Not talking about the lack of sound design, they may not event know what that means.
Event the voices are unexpressive and NPC just repeat the same thing over and over.

Absolute modern liberal garbage. If someone like her existed back then she would never have been a knight, the idea is laughable. She would have been thrown out a window to her death, braveheart style. You want a character who looks like a guy then use a real guy, not some skinny female who just looks like one who would never be able to even lift a sword. This whole concept is ridiculous. The "modern audience" didn't show up to support it because they do not exist! The real audience hates it and it needs to die.

1348 is a video game lacking in ideas and shows little development skill. The combat system is boring and poorly crafted, and the story is unengaging and not historically accurate. It's almost impossible to complete due to a complete lack of interest in continuing. It's clearly aimed at a tiny niche audience that represents less than 1% of gamers: LGBT gamers. Seeing that so many video games, all of them awful, are aimed at this segment and all of them fail miserably, I wonder if it's still worthwhile for developers to pursue this market. Then there are the ESG subsidies for those who deal with racist and sexist topics, for goodness sake, but I don't think they cover the lost sales and the bad reputation a studio builds for itself. This product is therefore intended for readers of Wired and Multiplayer; for everyone else, I strongly advise against it.

Horrible game! The story is trash, and the game play is buggy as all hell. In history, their was no such thing as a lesbian knight. Go woke go broke!

Why was this game even made and honestly who is the target audience for. Money would have been better spent lit on fire

What was that... what is that... why they publish such a game? from story to combat style was a complete disaster.

This isn't a game made for gamers, it's made for them to push an agenda and the end result is a bad, unrealistic, totally non immersive experience.

Amazing! From the environment to the combat, I loved everything about it! I’m playing on PS5 and didn’t encounter any issues. The graphics are stunning and run flawlessly! The story is really well-written, the combat is great and challenging! 10/10.

Absolutely awful implementation of UE5, optimization is not a word the devs heard about. The character models and animations, especially facial, are abhorrent and look like they belong in a John Carpenter movie.| The voice acting, that some people seem to qualify as a saving grace, is mid for Aeta. As for Jennifer English, she is one of the most overrated VAs in the industry -- no range to speak of. How she sounds in reality is how she sounds in CO:E33, is how she sounds in BG3. If you've played any of them, you've heard her entire acting and vocal range. Game itself is a linear dud full of brain dead AI, clunky sword play mechanics, and poorly or zero-implemented foley. Sound design, overall, is poor and probably done by someone with 0 experience or talent. Cut scene direction is non-existent. Cinematography is an art this developer knows nothing about. AWFUL GAME. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. 0/10

Awful gameful , buggy mess , rage inducing bosses Horrible PC performance. Horrible combat system. This isn't a full-fledged game, but a toy product. Another two years of development and it might have been okay. This shouldn't have made it into production.

Buggy game with terrible facial animations that honestly reminded me of Gollum. The combat system is catastrophic, the gameplay is generic and repetitive, and the story is painfully boring

Voice Acting: 10/10
Cinematografia: 8/10
Combate: 6/10 (Animações realistas)
Duração: ~6 horas
Pontuação final: 7/10
-------------------------------------------------- Review in English ------------------------ A competent and well-produced linear indie experiencef you enjoy games like Senua's Saga: Hellblade or A Plague Tale, 1348 Ex Voto follows that same formula. It’s an honest indie title that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel but delivers a solid experience for its price point. What to expect: Voice Acting & Cinematography : The absolute highlights. The voice acting is a 10/10 and the cinematography is very well executed (8/10), maintaining a high visual standard throughout. Gameplay & Combat (6/10) : The combat is simple and functional, but it earns extra points for the attention to detail in the realistic fencing choreographies, showing great care in the animations.Pacing : It’s a short, 6-hour linear journey. There are 3 bosses, but be warned: the final boss is a massive difficulty spike compared to the rest of the game. Verdict :Given the price and the fact that it's an indie project, it’s definitely worth playing if you're looking for a short, well-produced story. It doesn't break new ground, but it fully delivers on its premise. Quick Scores:
Voice Acting: 10/10
Cinematography: 8/10
Combat: 6/10 (Realistic animations)
Playtime: ~6 hours
Total score: 7/10

One of the worst game released. Another shame for italian videogame sector. A **** story with horrible hitboxes, bad graphics, very disappointing ending and a lot of very bad animations. Everything financed indirectly by italian people through taxes. Don't buy it. It's really THAT bad.

Where are those +250,000 Wishlisted, huh Ex Voto devs ??? Peaked under 500 players on Steam and even within that number that "played" the game were there just to make fun of the game. This is what happens when you go ahead and attack another game studio/developer for not bending the knee to Identity politics... Knights Path devs have every right to flex on top of the grave of this abomination once their game gets the success it deserves.

Играйте в KCD 1 и 2, A Plague Tale.

This game is completely unplayable from the very start. Beginning with the launch, when I was given mouse-controlled cursor navigation with a gamepad, and ending with the terrible optimization that everyone has already talked about. Despite using an NVME drive, the game still took several minutes to load textures, and then ran with horrible stuttering until I lowered the resolution by half. I have no intention of playing this mess of textures with controls straight out of Skyrim, so my verdict is 1 point, simply for the fact that it actually launched.

1348 Ex Voto is a game that clearly had potential in its premise—set during the chaos and devastation of the Black Death—but unfortunately much of that potential is buried under heavy-handed messaging and weak gameplay **** of the biggest issues is the way the game handles its historical setting. Rather than presenting the complexity and uncertainty of 14th-century Europe, the narrative often feels like it’s rewriting history to fit modern ideological messaging. Characters and events are frequently framed through a contemporary moral lens that feels disconnected from the time period. Instead of letting players explore the era organically, the story repeatedly pauses to deliver preachy dialogue and moral lectures, which breaks immersion and makes the narrative feel forced. This approach gives the impression that the developers prioritized delivering a message over telling a compelling story. Many scenes feel less like natural interactions between medieval characters and more like vehicles for modern commentary. For players who were hoping for a gritty, historically grounded experience about survival during the Black Death, this can be **** gameplay itself also suffers. Mechanics that could have been deep—such as survival systems, resource management, and navigating the social chaos of a plague-stricken society—are surprisingly shallow. Exploration and quest design quickly become repetitive, and the progression system lacks meaningful challenge. Instead of engaging systems that reward skill or strategy, the game often funnels players through scripted sequences that emphasize narrative messaging over interactive depth. This imbalance becomes especially noticeable over time. When a large portion of development energy appears to have gone into crafting the game’s thematic messaging, the actual mechanics feel underdeveloped. Combat, exploration, and decision-making lack polish, and the gameplay loop struggles to stay interesting beyond the first few **** the end, 1348 Ex Voto feels like a game that had a strong concept but lost focus. A historically rich setting like the Black Death could have supported a tense survival experience or a complex narrative about faith, fear, and social collapse. Instead, the game leans heavily into overt messaging while leaving its gameplay systems **** players primarily interested in deep mechanics or a nuanced historical atmosphere, 1348 Ex Voto may end up feeling like a missed opportunity.

PRO
Ambientazione e atmosfera medievale molto suggestive
Buona recitazione e colonna sonora
Narrazione cinematografica coinvolgente (se ti piacciono i temi proposti)
Durata contenuta (5-8 ore) Contro
Realismo storico praticamente inesistente
**** e tematiche lesbiche inseriti in modo forzato e storicamente implausibile
Gameplay ripetitivo, macchinoso e poco profondo

I wanted to give this a chance but the numerous bugs and horrible characters just make this too difficult to play. Graphics are pretty bad for this day and age with numerous cases of clipping during gameaplay. The story and script which could have saved this is even worse than the games sub par presentation. Give this a miss unless you just want to try it out to see how bad it is.

Subpar story, clunky mechanics, **** performance (on PC) if the devs spent half as much time on the game as attacking other game devs or gamers, they might have had a fairly okay game. Also if you want a medieval lesbian story, fine do it, its your game, but take note that you will automatically drive away the vast majority of gamers, even more so when you make one of them look like a cross between Timothy charlamet and the guy from the 3 stooges and the other one look like corpse. The only good thing I can say about this game is that it is an amazing advertisement for buying Knight's Path.

1348 Ex Voto: Plague, Woke, and a Total DisasterThe devs wanted to make "A Plague Tale." Instead, they made "A Plague of ****." This isn't a game — it's a textbook on how to waste money, years of work, and whatever was left of your brains in one release. Score: 0/10. Rock bottom is too high for this. Technical HellGot an RTX 4070 Ti? Congrats, you'll enjoy 20 FPS in the main menu. You haven't even started playing, and you already want to reinstall Windows. On PS5, frames drop from 70 to 10 — you'd get smoother motion from a 90s slideshow. The heroine's braid has a mind of its own, textures phase out, animations jerk around like they're having a seizure. Unreal Engine 5 said: "Don't blame me — this is just amateur hour." Optimization? Never heard of her. StoryIt's 1348, plague, everyone's dying. And you're a female knight, because historical accuracy is boring. You're saving your friend, and the entire plot can be summed up as: "Go there, do that, because the script says so." Acts don't connect, motivations are non-existent, and the ending is so rushed you'll wonder if they ran out of budget. When characters die, you feel nothing. Because they were never even properly written. The writer probably wrote this between shifts at a construction site.️ Voice Acting and DialogueThe voice acting sounds like it was recorded in a basement with a $5 microphone. The actors read their lines like they're being held at gunpoint, and then the devs forgot to pay them. The dialogue was written by an AI trained exclusively on bad Google Translate outputs. Every line makes you want to mute the game and play anything — even a vacuum cleaner ad — instead. Pauses are in the wrong places, intonation is robotic, and emotions are nonexistent. This isn't voice acting; it's audio torture. The Woke — The Only Thing That Actually Works HerePre-release, the devs smugly declared: "Why do you think a woman has to be attractive?" After that, even the LGBTQ+ community said: "Guys, maybe finish the game before preaching morals." Now conservatives are furious, liberals won't touch it, and the game hangs in a void. The woke agenda didn't save it — because nobody cares about your message when the product is garbage. Woke without quality is like non-alcoholic beer: pointless and unpleasant. Bugs as FeaturesThe game launched so raw that bugs became its main selling point. Textures not loading? That's a "unique art style." Physics glitching? That's a "feature of the engine." Characters falling through the floor? That's a "secret mechanic." If bugs gave achievements, you'd have a platinum trophy in the first five minutes. But no, all you get is pain and disappointment. Numbers That Kill50% on Opencritic — but that's too generous. Real score: 0/10.52% positive on Steam — probably from the devs' burner accounts.Peak online — 385 players. That's not even a room; that's a closet. An empty one.Devs bragged about 100,000 wishlists before release, then got nothing. People added it just to laugh at the price tag and move on.Verdict1348 Ex Voto isn't a game — it's a textbook on failure. How not to make, how not to market, how not to voice act, and how not to treat your audience. The woke didn't save it; the plague didn't help; bugs became features, but they'd be better off as bugs. Even plague rats avoid this game.Score: 0/10. Rock bottom is too high. If you're thinking of buying this game, buy discount beer instead. At least it's honest. This? This is just a pile of code that wanted to be a game but never made it.Skip it. There's nothing to see, nothing to hear, and nothing to enjoy.

This game and the studio will go down in history as one of the WORST! It's so bad that they even had to lie about their Wishlist numbers to try to hype it up and ( Deceive people into buying it ). They announced that 250,000 players wishlisted it supposedly. BUT only sold like 800 copies or so or even less. The graphics are similar to a playstation 2 game from back in the early 2000's. They put out some pictures and stuff trying to make it look good BUT trust me! there very outdated. The story is also REALLY bad and it has been done 1000 times before the classic save the princess type of deal nothing new at all just a very boring generic plot. The combat is VERY bland and super simple no combos or anything like that you just spam dodge or block and just smash the the attack button and hope they die before you do LOL. I encountered a few bugs like invisible walls or when attacking the npcs hits sometimes will not register at ALL and am swingin at the dam air at that point i had to keep restart it to be able to move forward in the game. I don't want to spoil the ending but yet again surprise, surprise it also **** but honestly what was i expecting after everything else that already was wrong with the game. I honestly i am just relieved to have beat it and I uninstalled it as soon as i did.

1348 Ex Voto is not ready to be sold!! the first cinematic looked awful and it's supoosed to be the best for attracting players, all textures were flying around and spinning on characters, not to mention bianca's head going 360', also the mouth capture is reaaally weirdhow is that normal for a 2026 game???
