Do not under any circumstances watch this. Someone murdered the series and is wearing it around as a skin suit. It’s like slapping a Ferarri logo on a Ford Focus.
Unwatchable, I tried. I loved this show, but you can tell it’s not going to be good just from the first episode. I’m going to try a wall episode,maybethat will be decent but regardless of opinion Roiland was the driving force, they lost him so it’s done.
I started laughing at the opening credits. It’s just red text moving up the screen slowly, not even fading into the background. I used to do After Effects special effects and it looked like someone did it on their first day of the job. They also replaced Asoka for no reason. Her character was bright and animated, even through her traumas she retained her character. This Asoka is cold and lifeless. She has no personality, just a husk speaking words. Everyone pauses for 1.5 seconds or longer before speaking their lines. And I already said it but I don’t care, why did they change the actor? She looks nothing like the previous actor.
Boring, I wanted to like it but I’m not sure why it exists. It’s just not very interesting, I don’t care what happens to the characters because they’re not likable, it’s not a 2 like some people reviewed it but there’s certainly no reason to watch it over any other show.
I think Amazon made this show so you’d get bored while watching it and go on your laptop to browse Amazon. Big brain move. It’s not that bad, but it’s certainly not entertaining. Wouldn’t have watched it if it didn’t have LOTR branding on it. Super mid.
Casting was horrible. Characters have no idea why they exist, they’re just saying words they don’t feel. If it didn’t have ao much action then it would be unwatchable. I didn’t finish it so for me it was unwatchable but some people might be able to sit through it. Also what’s up with the 2020 trucks in 25th century?
