Unfortunately the enhanced edition is not nearly as good as the original, even it seems like it only focuses on graphics. When units move and rotate and change their sprites according to orientation it feels as if the different angles are misaligned and this makes them seem to move in a very choppy fashion. There is an odd lack of quality in the aesthetics of units and buildings, it does not reflect the usual quality you expect from blizzard by far. Even though this should not be a demanding game in terms of performance there are constant performance spikes and choppy game play. Mixed with the issue above this makes for an unpleasant experience. The scaling of the units on screen is too large. I understand that if the screen res was higher, units and buildings smaller and therefore more of the map visible on screen then this affect game play. Unfortunately the way it is units just seem massive. It's not worth your money, this pack changes the original Starcraft into what feels like a seriously inferior RTS from the 90s. One you would find from a PC mag's demo disk and play out of politeness. Its appeal is entirely its relation to the original version.
I am a hardcore old skool Operation Flashpoint fan but this game makes me **** you dont have enough time to finish the game at least make sure the mission triggers work. You will find that even the first tutorial and the first mission are very hard to finish simply because they are buggy as hell. They are too complex for the medieval mission system to work. First missions should be immersing, rewarding and easy to complete. Not like this. The engine is very slow and choppy and it prevents you from enjoying the GFX. I have no good things to say because I didn't get far enough to see them.
