A crazy amount of mechanics and fascinating interactions between them. Either DF is your thing, or it isn't. I know that it isn't mine, although I still appreciate it for what it is.

Kinda OK I suppose... if it wasn't so goddamn slow and long. I don't have the nerve to finish this game. And I can't see why a reasonable human being would.

Stacks of Doom, and long periods of time a new player isn't sure what they should be doing. Kinda understandable.. it's geared mostly towards the fans of Civ 1-3. Also has some pretty cool mods.

It's a decent game. I wish the character could run... but that'd probably sort of ruin the atmosphere. It's a fun play even in 2024.

An obscenely long oldschool adventure. Has it's good moments, but I've never managed to actually find the willpower to finish it.

Dark Souls: Mainstream Edition. I suppose it's not a bad game, as long as one likes getting killed many times in their spare time.

The game that started the microtransactions insanity. Nothing special, just another timesink.

Violence for the sake of violence. Oh, and communism bad. If you happen to be a person of some sophistication, look elsewhere. Just like Bioshock 1, the setting is good, but that's about it.

I believe it took the FPS game in a worse direction. Xen is boring. It's still a good shooter.. I suppose? Single player isn't that special. Multiplayer on Crossfire would still be pretty fun. Shame it didn't have bot support.

A milestone in game development, but by 2024, all it has done, has been done better. Again and again.

Hasn't aged well. Civ 4 is better in every way despite having countless problems.

Probably the best Mass Effect game. Still, like 10 times longer than it needs to be.

It's pretty decent FPS puzzler, but many new mechanics feel tacked on. The first Portal game was tighter and more enjoyable.

Arghh why does the pacing of CRPGs need to be so goddamn glacial. Not my cup of tea... I never understood how ppl can play these games again and again and again for 100s of hours.

Good setting. Midbrow take on Ayn Rand's philosophy. Drags too much. Shooting is unexciting.

A midwit hollywood movie dragged to 100 hours of length. Shooting is bad. Driving is bad. I don't get what people like so much about GTA.

Eh.. not my cup of tea. I enjoyed the music and Astarion... but other than that lost patience some 15-20 hours in.

It's a good game. Well made, and the shooting feels tight. But it ain't really *that* special.

Cool concept, but drags its feet later on and lacks polish. The game development self-reflections are amazing. Moreso after what happened to Disco Elysium's creators.
