What a great game. I'm already obsessed with getting all 3 stars on each level and carefully planning my upgrades. Best TD game I've played, it's full of charm and provides a fair challenge throughout. My wife is even getting into it
Incredible value, I'm having more fun with this soccer game than past iterations of FIFA on normal systems. Very deep, challenging, with real players and teams and pretty solid control for an iPad game. Highly recommended!
Amazing game. Awesome storytelling, great action sequences, and they removed some of the confusing inventory management from the first game. It's like playing a movie. This is a must-play and is my favorite RPG of all **** has exceeded Fallout 3.
The most enjoyable multiplayer experience I've had on the Xbox 360. I met most of my XBL friends through this game and played it more than any other game I've owned for the system. It's a perfect blend of arcade action, strategy, teamwork, and fun. Single player is short but that's not the reason to play this. The only downside in hindsight is the lack of a MP leveling system and no stats tracked for non-ranked matches (which is where I spent most of my time).
They took everything I liked from the first Gears of War and butchered it. Movement is clingy, matchmaking online is awful, and the shotguns have been dumbed down to an embarassing level. This only gets points for the Horde mode, which is fun with friends, and for a pretty enjoyable single player campaign (although it's very short at approx. 6 hours). But multiplayer is where this series lives, and I can't bring myself to play it online again.
I created an account because I couldn't believe the low scores on this **** I was a big fan of the first one. I still find myself pausing the game, issuing orders, and it's satisfying. I even took everyone's word for it and started on hard, which worked fine for the first 30 minutes but soon became frustrating...there is no "auto-win" button like people are claiming. It's far too early for me to submit a full review, but my impression after 2-3 hours has been very favorable and I felt the need to provide some honest, legitimate feedback.
