What a shame. The AI isn't creative and the graphics are glitchy. Scenarios are very few and multiplayer is problematic. I'd recommend to anyone looking at this title to stay clear of it. It's simply full of bugs and is more of a headache than anything else.

Don't even bother. This game was a disaster on PC so why port it to the iOS? The controls are confusing and the graphics are jumbled. AI needs lacks correct pathfinding through the terrain and the scenarios are lacking replayability. No thanks. Look the other way if your interested in a medieval mobile game.

A micro-management nightmare, is putting it lightly. This game needs an update, badly. I got lost first in the complex HUD with tiny print and difficult controls. Hotkeys are difficult to remember and out of place for this sort of game, while the tactics of the game are non-existent.

Don't bother. I bought this for 29.99 last week and I lost interest quickly. I should have bought it a year ago on Steam when the price was $1.99!!!! This portrays the Victorian Age in a cartoonish fashion, with warfare as an afterthought. But don't get too encouraged, the economics and political complexities are lacking. The turn-based mechanics of the game give the AI incorrect calculations and they do odd things more often than not. Multiplayer is incompatible with Windows 8 and more than 2 players the game CTD's every five minutes or so. The sprites need an upgrade as well. not to mention the complicated and outdated GUI.

To explain this one best: for the simple-minded. This game portrays the hard fought eastern front of ww2 as a fairy tail, with generics and odd terminology. The AI is nearly non-existent and the graphics are below normal compared to other strategy games of its kind. The number of campaigns are lacking and the tutorial is bugged completely. Stay away from this mess if you value your money.

Again? We've seen this played out already in Rise of Prussia and Revolution Under Siege, bringing this buggy engine to the ancients is a disgrace to Roman tradition. If you like playing and AI that cheats to win and in unrealistic engagements, then this game is for you. I wish I had saved my money for the upcoming Rome 2 Total War rather than spend it on this simplistic and overly-generic game about Rome. The UI needs an overhaul as well, not to mention documentation on this game is lacking and the publisher refuses to support it any longer.

We've read this book before! Panthers in the Fog just misses the mark, but I wasn't expecting much when I purchased it. With this new addition to the series don't be surprised, it's one of its prequels wrapped in nice packaging and a much higher price tag. Don't bother with this tactical dinosaur, as it's nothing new. All attempts to shake it up abit with this release completely fall short of the mark. What a waste of time.
