Well, i do wish it had a little more "killing genius" to it like "The equalizer" had, although it's also true that Wick makes up the lack of words with bullets. Also felt the same level of Badassary as in Jack Reacher, but this movie has clearly the upper hand in action. although it lacks in plot... the Continental really was great and all the assassins sub culture with their rules and gold coins. Would maybe give a nice spin-off, or even a tv series.. as far as the overall movie rating, i think this one sums it up well: "John Wick is undiluted entertainment and slick-as-hell action.!!! fast n fast packed action film,Keanu Reeves show!"

i didnt expect to give this a 7 outta 10, not a Rogen fan and i think that Franco should stick with self mutilating films. However the pairing does work and i laughed more then i expected. Hardly a must see but its fun enough for an afternoon..

it does bloody grabs you from the start, one of the best first scenes in cinema history if you ask me. However the mid of the film felt slow to me, was plannin on giving it a 6 but the last scene really redeemed it and got it an extra point. so, really awesome start and perfect ending, if only the journey was as captivating..

Hands down my favorite film this year. The acting is superb and the music outrageously good. John Carney has made a masterpiece and hardly anyone knows about it.

i downloaded this movie only because it had Miles teller in it! Analeigh Tipton was a nice surprise, i loved her in "crazy stupid love" This is such a nice film, yeah just another rom com but it the kind that makes you smile. I loved this one quote form Miles character: "People talk about how great it is to be single and that's **** joining the single party. It's not a party, it's a bunch of people sitting around in the dark, texting." Loved it ^^

Did you like Ong Bak 1 & 2? Did you love the moment when the mountain crushed the eyes of the red viper in GOT? Then you gotta see this! With some of the most brutal and perfectly shot martial arts action ever put into film this is an action movie unlike any other. It's tense, bloody, and almost unrelenting, barely leaving time for you to breath. This is the new high-bar for action movies and truth be told we might never see another movie reach it. It's an absolute masterpiece and one you need to watch.

Jolie's performance so overshadows the rest of the cast (and the rest of the movie) that you sometimes feel as if the other characters are, like us, just standing around watching her. Also, the sleeping beaty wasnt that beautiful to begin with.. Also, she had godlike powers and couldnt grow some new wings or go get her old ones back? Apart from that, yeah good movie

Such a heartwarming movie. Jon Favreau really shines in this one, as an actor and as Director! I just downloaded it because of RDJ and Scarlett, little did i know they only have (along with dustin Hoffman) around 20 mins of screenplay between them. little nice feel good movie, altho a bit predictable, maybe the best of the year in its category..

Tris is no Katniss Everdeen, and Divergent is a better film for not trying to impersonate a similar trilogy. It won't excite the world to the extent of The Hunger Games but this more humble offering is nevertheless exciting, fun and satisfying. So, yeah if you liked the hunger games, give this one a try, at least we arent bothered with stupid love triangles...

I **** loved this film, best comedy of 2014 yet and even maybe top 5 film! Yes, you do have to like toilet humor, but hey, its a Macfarlane movie. I laughed than I did at all the other comedies I’ve seen this year, combined. All my friends loved it 2, so disregard the bad critics and go have a Laugh :)

Thai martial-arts maestro Tony Jaa’s newest film overloads on terrible F/X that rob the film of the actor’s usual brute-force balleticism. Ong Bak and The Protector were AMAZING. This movie is the opposite of what made him popular in the first place. This movie not only uses wires, but horrible looking CGI and scenes obviously shot in front **** screen. Not only does the CGI look bad in this movie but Jaa's fighting abilities seem to have taken a hit too. He looks slower and even a little sloppy at times. JeeJa Yanin is completely wasted in this movie too. Why even put her in the movie just to get beat up most of the time? And the RZA? He took an already bad movie and plunged it to the bottom of the barrel. He's a terrible actor and shouldn't be anywhere near a fight scene.

An enjoyable, if not, predictable comedy with a fantastic ensemble cast who don't have too much to do. The movie moves along at a brisk pace and the frat boys are funny, yet one-dimensional. Sadly the movie falls into sit-com like scenarios which can be amusing and chuckle worthy, but very forgettable in the long run. The script is paper thin, and the characters story arcs are mere speed bumps in between the comedy. It isn't a game changer in the world of comedy, but there are worse ways to spend your hour and forty. Sadly, still not the movie that will make me like Rogen, i just dont fing him funny at all, and ive seen most of his movies sadly!

Sometimes, trailers showcase only the good stuff. The actual movie is a pale substitute. Such is the case here. the first third of the movie is too slow to build.. Bryan Cranston was great but we didn't really need hes character or back-story... Think the movie would have been more interesting from the POV of Ken Watanabe. Godzilla Was magnificently done but he looked like he was a support character on his own movie...

Man, what a nice lil film. did you like "the time travelers wife"? did you like "the butterfly effect"? how about mixing the 2 together, adding Bill Nighy and Rachel Mcadams to the cast, and you get a lovely film. granted, the first 30 mins are a little "long" but you'll like it in the long run!

This film tells the story of two best friends in high school preparing for prom. One of them comes out as gay, and their friendship is tested. ""Date and Switch" is a fun and lighthearted comedy about a teenager coming to terms with his sexuality, exploring his life and lifestyle. The film is full of stereotypical characters and situations, but one thing that is not stereotypical is that the lead characters are not the super camp queen that is present in many gay films. The emotional climax is a little disappointing, but the fun and happy ending makes up for it. "Date and Switch" has a but of predictability and a bit of unpredictability. I guess that's what makes the film fun."

It lacks the unworldly mythologies of the first title, but its spectacular animation will still be entertaining enough. 300: Rise of an Empire is the prequel, event in between and also sequel of 300, this might be overreaching as it cumbersomely tries to tell wider scale background of the war. Eva Green was amazing as the Nemesis, and the lil background story did good to the character, however, 300 was Epic because of the Spartans. an almost invincible breed of warriors. Leonidas was also way charismatic than whatever Stapleton delivered... Sadly this movie is 90% about Greeks fighting.. and for that, i reckon you're better off watching Troy.

Mix "The Hangover" with "Projet X" and add some "Superbad" and you'll get this, nonsense comedy about becoming an adult, getting **** and causing mayhem! We all laughed our heads off.

i usually give this type of movies a try since you can get some cheap laughs in some of them. this is not the case. so give this one a pass and check out something else

do you know the end scenes on the hangover movies, where Stu always makes something hilarious that you just cant stop laughing? be it the tooth scene, the face tattoo or the epic breast implants scene? Well this movie is a collection of lil stories like that one, they make no sense but you laugh your ass off!!

Though incredibly predictable from start to finish, "We're the Millers" did make me laugh. it made all 7 of us burst in tears at some moments actually, and the final blooper scene? Outstanding

i expected more from this film, specially since it runs over 2 hours.. i expected to see more about the product creation, i expected at least a mention of pixar and for last i expected the timeline to reach at least the first iphone.. I however did like that they didnt try to pass steve as a good doo'er and got to show hes side. That being sad, i did not disliked the movie, liked it about as much as one could like a movie about a genius if i would have to choose between this and the social network, i'ld go with facebook thos, just a better script and better acting.

If you liked the first one, chances are you gonna like this one as well. the cons for me were that it acts out pretty much almost exactly like the first even to the point of her saying back to the attackers what they had previously said to her. as far as gore goes, this beats all other movies imo, even the recent Evil dead Remake. not a film for the faint of heart, but then again, neither was the first.

i really wanted to love this movie but it has so many shortcomings, you just dont care enough for the character, which is a pity because the story could aspire to be so much more, and then the nun? even after knowing her life story, people just don't care.

what can i say? 2 old guys get into a small team of sociably awkward geeks and get to win an internship at google and helping them sorting their own social faults. Seen it done a thousand times, watch it if you don't cringe at this types of movies.

wow, take Constantine, mix it with twilight and add some Buffy the vampire slayer, what you get is a poor excuse for a movie, with action scenes that are all over the place and 2 main characters that you just don't give a damn.
