While there are definitely a few cringy scenes sprinkled throughout the movie, Ballerina is certainly worth a watch in theaters. What this movie lacks in non-hacky minor plot lines, it makes up for in pure female badassery. It was very enjoyable, and as with all the John Wick movies, the action scenes rival other movies of the same type.
Worth a watch! Pattinson gives a great performance, good enough in fact to forget his "Twilight" past. The concept is intriguing however, it can feel a little bit slow at times.
Incredible look into the human experience that leaves you questioning the modern thought that "sex work" is chosen/preferred for some and doesn't come with any repercussions on the human psyche.
I didn't find anything about this movie that special or worth while. While the interactions between the characters were entertaining, it doesn't stand out to me in the world of spy movies as something "great." Average if anything, and not worth seeing in theaters.
A welcome surprise to the more typical "super hero movies" in this franchise. Thunderbolts addresses issues of mental health and doing the right thing in a way that I have not seen before. I am not a marvel fan, but really enjoyed this movie.
Tim Robinson is hilarious per usual. After leaving the theater my boyfriend and I couldn't stop discussing different parts of the movie and just how funny and uncomfortable they are. We left the theater both laughing while at the same time asking, "what the heck did we just watch?" An incredible ride of cringe and comedy.
