I loved this game. All characters were engaging, and grabbed you. Voice acting was superb. Graphics were gorgeous, I took 689 screenshot pics. Combat was very good, and there are difficulty levels to try out. But no button mashing. Hit those combos. Practice parrying like crazy. (Don't worry! You'll get it well enough to survive!) Discipline yourself, Grasshopper! The story is very heartwarming, especially if you have Daughters, and has some very interesting plot angles. The weapons are numerous, and I tried them all, hunting down everything I could. There are numerous skills and perks you can use to create the kind of combat and perk that you are good at and like. Ranged is surprisingly effective if used wisely. Then there is Koo, the Dog. The mechanics and interaction between Koo and Emma are outstanding, and closely mirror a real dog like my very protective and loving Boxer. Koo during combat was fantastic, and I always used him. Make sure to keep leveling him up.. He does some very cool things! You need to give this a try. Pay attention. There are some very cool combat tricks to be had here. Stay with it, all the way to the very end. I have been playing games since 1985, and have seen good games come and go, but there aren't that many that hit me as hard as this one did. It joined my list of all time favorites.

I long for the days when I could rent a game, then decide if I wanted to buy it. I would get my money back on this, but can't. So goes the future of gaming for online purchases. To me, spending so much time at the forge, crafting weak weapons that break over and over and over (LoZ:TOTK), then having to beat the same bozos over and **** over... is a waste of time. I even lowered the difficulty, which means you have to start over completely again. **** can craft a new weapon, more powerful, you say? Back to the forge. Now go back and, my God, fight the same guys you been slaying for the last 5 times. And when you beat someone or thing that's ****! How fun! This guy's supposed to be Ivanhoe on steroids? Kratos would beat his rear end any day. Enotria, Black Myth, Elden Ring, Devil May Cry, God of War, Nioh, and more... I never felt like I was wasting my time. Here, I'm just not sold. Too much time on weak weapons and repetition. I am very disappointed. So, "Buyer, Beware!"

I wonder if it's because it's been patched, but I find very little to complain about playing Enotria! It is visually stunning, and the combat had me working pretty hard at times. Take your time when setting up your loadouts and perks because there is a lot going on, but when you get it right, it's a lot of fun. I write in a notebook to keep things clear until the game is clear to me. Some of the bosses are pretty tough, so just like any challenging game, pay attention, and you'll get it. There is a story mode, which is great that they put that in there in case you are short on time or your skillset isn't ready for higher difficulty. Try this game... It's pretty cool! I've been a gamer since 1985, all kinds of games, all consoles, and a lot of times I wonder how deep pro reviewers play... I suspect sometimes, not that deep. Once again, try it... I think you'll like it!

At points, the game is gorgeous. She is beautiful, and looks badass. She could also tug at your heart, and her story could hook you, especially me as a Father of several Daughters, but there is no flow to it because even though I really, really want to love this game, there are problems. The dialog makes you feel like you are listening to a washing machine. And this is the big one... I never would have bought this if I knew after you die, you go back to the rooftop, first level, and have to fight the same enemies over and over every single time. You lose your connection with her because you have to slog through the same enemies from before. I wasn't expecting Rise of the Ronin, or Stellar Blade, but I wasn't expecting being treated like a lab rat, either. You run through a maze, and the only way you get to the end is if you get lucky... or you "learn" and "git gud". What a drag, Man! I've been playing games since 1985, and don't like wasting my time repeating the same fights from level one to get back to where I was. It hurts to say this, but don't buy this game.

I finished playing Rise of the Ronin and was worried about finding a game that was as good as that was, and must say I was very happy with Stellar Blade! I played with the English voices, and I honestly wonder if some of the complaining Youtube and other reviewers actually played the game at all because it translated pretty good to me. The soundtrack was excellent, and Eve is very beautiful. Combat is fluid, challenging, tough bosses, and nothing unfair or uneven. Adjustable difficulty is nice if you need it. The only thing I can complain about is that there was a bit too much of desert combat levels. Graphics are superb. Supporting characters are very good. Do the sidequests and substories. Do them! You won't be sorry! I've been a gamer since 1985...that's right. 1985! So play this game! It's amazing!

I love this game. It has lots of loot, a dramatic storyline, and exciting combat. The side missions are pretty good. They are sometimes a story within the main story. Great character customization, and you can adjust the difficulty level to suit your playstyle. Fight how you like. Stealth is fun, Ranged weapons are effective, close combat has a ton of stances/ fighting styles. Nothing is wasted here... everything has a payback, impact, consequence, advances the game. Uniforms/outfits are excellent, and are all there, traditional, Western, you name it. This game is so much fun, it made me stop Legend of Zelda TOTK... I've been playing games, all systems, since 1985. I've played them all, and I think this is a real good game.

Giving it one extra point for a 10 to balance out some of those who don't sound like they actually played the same game I did. I love the voice acting, the story is engaging, combat is fun and fast... Devil May Cry experts should excel here. The soundtrack is mood correct, and there are some sad elements scattered throughout that are appropriate to the story. I've been playing games since 1985, all genre except sports, and highly recommend this game. It's fun... Please try it!

**** hasn't impressed me much. If you are expecting as good or better than Doom 2016, this is not going to deliver. Very disappointed. Graphics are cartoonish, too much damn jumping. Ammo management was irritating, although not impossible. This was a waste of my Saturday and 60 bucks.

Do not listen to the negative remarks about this game. I loved it! I seriously wonder if some critics really played it all the way through?? Lots of action, great weapons, superb graphics, soundtrack and voice acting!!! Yes, it is a bit short, but it was also a great, intense story. And thank God you don't have to go all over the place collecting herbs, leather straps, flowers etc. to craft some weapon or spell! The plot has a few twists to it, it's well paced and has a nice mix of relentless battles, stealth and is pretty clever in the environments the game takes place in. It's just a cool game. Get this. Enjoy it. The critics are wrong.
