I've played Evergate on both Switch and PC. See my switch review for my thoughts about the game in general. While Evergate performs extraordinarily well on Switch, I prefer the PC version because I can get some extra performance gain for an even smoother experience, and I can use KBM controls for added precision. Plus I can always plug in a controller if I want the added challenge. :)

A tight and tricky 2D puzzle platformer that combines the otherworldly art style of Ori and Child of Light with the tough-but-fair, die-til-you-get-it, stage-based platforming of Celeste and Super Meat Boy. On top of this foundation is a unique puzzle mechanic in the form of memory crystals that the protagonist Ki must shoot with her soulflame to unleash their powers. Crystals must be used with wit and precision to reach the gate at the end of each level, and to unlock playstyle-boosting artifacts via optional achievements. A charming and affecting story about second chances enhanced by a magnificent fully orchestral soundtrack round out this impressive first release from four-person indie outfit Stone Lantern Games.
