A game with minimalist and extremely clean gameplay. Intriguing, intelligent environmental puzzles; a dark, surreal, poetic atmosphere. Short but intense.

A very solid game: a battle system that adapts to the player's preferences, with varied weapons and a very effective progression system. The characters are well-designed despite a sketchy plot. It keeps you engaged throughout the campaign, which is generous in length.

The second installment convinced me once again. My positive opinion is strengthened. I really appreciate the characters and the atmosphere (which reminded me of the antagonistic spirit of an older game I loved, Beyond Good and Evil). The puzzles are intuitive, and overly convoluted solutions are avoided.

I didn't really connect with this game. It offers so many cards, so many variations, and the gameplay is at times so complex that it becomes chaotic, if not confusing. Boss battles are much tougher than regular battles, creating an exaggerated divide.

Giving this game an overall rating isn't easy. From the start, the characters are delightful, the BS is spot on, the variables seem right. You enjoy it, a lot. Then the game gets a bit stale, predictable encounters are repeated, and the power-ups are so comprehensive that character progression stalls just past the halfway point. And that's when you start to feel the strain, further accentuated by a story that relies on forced and somewhat reckless time jumps (although they're necessary to build the puzzle that will form the entire plot, as you'll fully discover at the end of the game). Finally, the characters and story come back strongly and earn the game a positive, though not overwhelming, rating.

A game packed with content, highly entertaining, and capable of absorbing several hours of gameplay despite its rather simple mechanics, thanks to a huge number of characters, each with different moves and abilities. Various modes. A funfair with a good ability to synthesize, given that the prizes are all connected.

The game is robust, even if you only play it once. Overall, it's well-crafted, despite a few lapses in cynicism. The customization is extensive, so much so that I would have appreciated more options for organizing items. The lack of a map is compensated for by fast travel.

I'm only referring to the offline campaign. The game is enjoyable and has some good points, as well as some not-so-acceptable difficulty peaks and valleys. Character growth for the campaign isn't very rewarding, as the weapons and accessories you unlock don't always provide advantages.

Interesting and unique game. The first playthrough reveals a captivating plot, even without the need for great golfing skills. Later, you can delve deeper into both the sporting and narrative aspects, trying to stay within the PAR of each **** narrative perspective has a somewhat socially antagonistic feel, which I particularly enjoyed.

Trial and error is not my favorite system. In this game the method is also exaggerated, to the point of tiring if not frustrating. The collectibles are particularly challenging to find and sometimes even to obtain after having been discovered. The air movement control system is too random to give the player the feeling of improving and mastering the game. I continued the story with weariness.

The game has a historical-geographical setting that is quite intriguing. The musical commentary is pleasant and in style. The story, however, is bland and rather gratuitous. The action is fast and dense, with a constantly frenetic structure that creates difficulty. In most cases, each stage must be repeated several times before being overcome, sometimes too many. In this, the game appears cynical, becoming repetitive when not already tiring and frustrating, also because the double-lever shooting and aiming system is cumbersome and on normal difficulty you are already quite vulnerable. In addition, the concept involves a certain unfairness of the system; you often end up receiving fatal shots from enemies out of sight. Moreover, the stages are limited in number and if their solution had been more accessible, the game would have had a much shorter duration. I do not exclude that any runs after the first could give the player greater mastery and therefore the right enjoyment, but the accumulated stress did not invite me to further runs.
