I can't believe what I am about to say, but here it is: EA actually nailed this one. Handling, AI and sound are good. Graphics are outstanding, racing in Monaco and Abu Dhabi is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The only problem is the content. Only the 10 2025 f1 cars is not enough, classic cars are a must at this point.
PROS:
-The driving physics is believable (not realistic) and fun. -The sounds are awesome.
-The car list is the best. Ever. CONS:
-The performance is not good enough, and the input has a delay.
-The graphics are lame, to say the least, a obviuos downgrade compared to dirt 2.0, a 5 year game old.
-The stages are very repetitive, and this is so annoying. Codemasters certainly have a lot of proprietary assets to use in these stages, and you run in 4 stages of any rally, they all look the same. CONCLUSION: A decent game that could be so much better, given the Dirt rally series history. I', inclined to trust theywill turn this mess around, and didn`t ask for a refund.
What can I say? I 'm really blown away by this game. An unmatched experience as an arcade game. This is a racing game for the ages. Full day/season cicles, the world never gets boring. Infinite events. Online integration. Vast customization. Amazing carlist. Fun driving model, with many differen kind of cars. I could go on and on praising the game. The graphics, the vistas... gobsmacking. The only downside is the sound, many cars have generic sound, and the soundtrack is so lame. To solve the soundtrack problem, you can use the spotify integration in the game bar, and voi-lá. Couldn't recommend more.
