The game's pretty interesting with how the developer's tried to refine bullet physics, which I don't think any other game series has done before. However, the game's entire appeal is a sense of realism. And all that goes out the **** window when the enemies aren't hindered by getting shot anywhere there isn't a vital organ. I swear to god, I shot somebody in their foot, and when they gave up looking for me, he was walking around like all the other AI. It would make the game so much better if when you were using your rifle, all the AI would either die or become incapacitated in one shot. You might say that's unfair, or too easy, but I also think the player should die in one to two shots.

I really loved the game for the first day or two. I was constantly playing it. But somewhere along the line, you'll come across game-breaking glitches that completely destroy whatever you've spent 10-15 hours building up. Disasters, harsh weather, uneven building space is all fine. But people that idle when you tell them to build, builders that gather materials when they should be building, and people teleporting to the edge of the map and dying on their way back make this game not worth playing.

God does this game have a **** ton of mechanical problems. Anything but a 1v1 fight ends up being a stun-lock cluster **** the "A/X" button teleport doesn't work properly, and most of the time won't put you behind the opponent like the game says it's going to, guarding is an entirely inneficient way to mitigate damage, story missions have an exponential difficulty curve that depend on the player doing side missions and thus grinding, the tutorials don't do **** early on to teach you about equips and items, and character specializations are a joke to begin with. For some reason when I specialised as a melee fighter, the only ultimate it gave me was a ki blast that was only effective close up. The stupid thing is that it gives the same ultimate whether or not you spec into long range, short range, or close range. It's much easier, and stupidly easy to just use the non-custom DBZ characters to do the side missions since their stats will be infinitely higher than anything you can get your character to by the time you unlock them. If you are a fan of the anime/manga, this is a great game for you. The story's **** but at least it offers more than the same, stupid, watered down saga epic we've been seeing for the past three generations of DBZ games.
