When the Mufasa movie was released, I was initially thrilled. I mean, "The Lion King" is a total classic, and you'd have to be crazy not to get excited about it. I also wondered if the plot would revolve around the narratives from "The Lion King: Six New Adventures," which explores Mufasa and Scar's past. In fact, among various "canonical" sources, the backstory of "The Lion King" extended to Simba's great-great-great-grandfather. However, it's clear Disney decided to throw all that out the window and create a new "canon" because the Mufasa movie disregards all previous lore. This isn't new; "Star Wars" did the same with its "Expanded Universe" when launching the latest trilogy, and "Dragon Ball" did it with "Dragon Ball Super," which canceled out "Dragon Ball GT." Now, focusing on the movie itself, I can say I liked it. It's pretty good. It has an interesting narrative that ranges from the comedic, with Timon and Pumbaa, to the serious and mystical with Rafiki. A lot of people complain that it's predictable, but come on. This is a prequel. We all know how it has to end." Mufasa" provides a solid narrative, an engaging story full of values and exciting moments. There are great references to the main movie, handled with mastery Unfortunately, it has its downsides. For instance, the music, while not bad, is light-years away from "The Lion King." It doesn't even come close. Personally, I enjoyed it. It's a good movie to watch with the family to end/start the year, full of emotion and action.

The original Gladiator is a timeless classic, hailed as the best movie of its year by the Academy. An extraordinary madness. That's the only way to define Poor Things. And it really is madness. Poor Things is like seeing life through a surrealist painting. Forget about a rational story development. The film will take you through a world, between magical, philosophical, and psychedelic, to tell you about the development of the personality of Bella Baxter, whose existence will cause a lot of confusion from the moment the viewer meets her. The story, despite being fantastic, is not positive. You will enter the mind of a depressed philosopher who tells his vision of life (full of vices, pleasures, and injustices) in something similar to a dream. Everything is well done here. The acting, the costumes, the set design. Little or nothing bad can be found in this film, which, although it shines, its plot and messages are sad and gray. Personally, I do not share the sad vision of the world as it is narrated here. However, I enjoyed this work of art every second. THE GOOD. It is like entering the dream of a philosopher who tells us how life is. THE BAD. It is a great work of art, but it does not have that climax that would make this film a 10. Oppenheimer is the kind of movie that transports you into another dimension. The extraordinary narrative and incredible actors will make you forgive that movie's length of 3 hours. I strongly recommend this movie because, beyond its extraordinary narrative, it gives you new culture and information that you probably don't know and can motivate you to investigate more about the historical events that change the world.

It is incredible how this franchise continues to give us great stories and emotions. Creed 3 is a fantastic movie that will generate emotions from beginning to end. It is very hard to find something that is good in this movie. The pretext of "this movie is not looking for an Oscar" is not enough to save this awful work. It is essential to separate fantasy history from absurd history. Everything is lousy: the direction, the actors, the development of the history... The only reason I don't put a worse score is that the movie is terrible but not tasteless.

Very far from the best movies of Marvel, but still good. A good movie for a Sunday in the afternoon.
