Creed III honors the past while looking forward to the future, and gives Jordan—both the actor and the director—the spotlight in a way that shows his immense talents.

Creed III brings up unusually troubling questions for a formula picture, and the care the script takes to add depth to Donnie strengthens the final third of the film, which in accordance with the sports-drama rulebook leads us through a rousing training montage and a climactic competition, this time in Dodger Stadium.

I finally watched creed 3 and great film! Terrific acting and the boxing had you captivated the whole time. I don’t think you necessary need to see the other two movies before watching this one but at least watch two. Amazing job from Tessa, Michael and Johnathan! I wouldn’t mind another installment with a good plot ! I would highly recommend this watch.

Creed III does serve as a nice springboard to whatever future movies Jordan wants to direct. He’s done a really great job here. And it, of course, allows Jonathan Majors another chance to emote. Right now, Majors has to be the king of emoting. He is truly great at it. What’s interesting about this movie is a viewer can see both sides of the conflict between Adonis and Dame, at least to a point.

Unlike “Creed II,” which had little visual distinction and a storyline forgettable enough to send me straight to Wikipedia for a refresher, Creed III tries a few things. And it showcases two charismatic stars who are also genuine, ambitious actors.

Majors, already seemingly inescapable this year, brings a wounded menace that suggests the many sedimentary layers of fury and grief underneath; he's less some sneering Iron Curtain meathead á la Rocky villains of yore than a lost soul.

Jordan is doing double duty here, directing as well as starring in this solidly by-numbers chapter in the ongoing Creed saga. He does a workmanlike job – the fight sequences are thrillingly visceral, but his weakness for cheesy montages and the film’s formulaic screenplay ensure that the picture was never going to take the franchise anywhere new.

This is a humorless, dry retread of the lesser, later “Rocky” movies, a molehill of a tale for our boxing titans to climb.

This trilogy is about Creed's legacy, Adonis Creed, not Rocky Balboa. This movie is independent of the original franchise but there is still a connection and scensse of it. Michael B. Jordan is such a good actor and he has huge potential on the direction. The story is engaging and well paced, Jonathan Majors does a good perfomance as Dame Anderson and the fights has extremely good choreography and direction and it seems that the fights has some references of iconic anime moments (pretty good tribute). This movie is the start of a new beginning of Creed and being independent of Rocky's presence

Alright movie but it got away from what made this movie great. No Stallone in this one either. Now he's retiring already. Kind of dumb. I want to see him box more maybe more fights. It's always just one fight. Idk he's to young to retire and I don't want to watch him become a trainer now just like rocky.

Formulaic, but well made. Would have loved to watch this as a television series.

It has moments of good directing, acting, and cinematography. Both actors look **** whole thing just feels so redundant. Nothing surprising happens. Predictable, repetitive, anticlimactic, bland, vacuous, boxing movie. The central conflict is toilet paper thin. The montages are so typical and reused, it almost feels like a parody. The boxing genre is a failed genre at this point. Please do something new someday!!
