I loved Prototype 1 so I was looking forward to this title. And It didn't disappoint for the most part. Graphics are nice, especially I loved the building textures. Voice acting was alright IMO. The soundtrack was rather disappointing and not memorable. I really liked the story, even though it seemed generic at first, the ending, however, was questionable. A lot of the gameplay mechanics were corrected so now it's even more fun to play than in the first game. Unfortunately developers removed some cool powers from the first game, like shock waves and all the different types of devastators(there is only one now), but they also added some new features. All in all it's a great game and a great follow up to its predecessor and I recommend you to buy it if you enjoyed the first prototype.
Very disappointing, at least for someone who has played the previous game. The game gives you 72 characters ? yeah, but only around 10 of them are actually new. Story mode is a drag to play through, but you have to, if you want all the characters. Survival and offline tournaments are nothing, but a filler to make the game feel less empty. Combat gameplay has been improved, but not too far from what it has been. Online is still following the same tactics and OP characters are still present which makes for a very unpleasant time in a tournament where you have to fight the same character 3 times, because of how everyone is using him. Epic boss battles are gone. If you have Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, stay away from this one, unless you are a die hard fan of Naruto that is.
Game plays well. Some RPG elements came back, gameplay is smoother now. Multiplayer is kind of fun. Graphics are alright. Soundtrack could've been better. Voice acting is alright. Seems like everything's fine, right? Well, my biggest problem with this game is that Bioware promised all questions to be answered. Unfortunately, this game fails dramatically at explaining anything. Instead, in the end you'll have twice as many questions which do not seem to be answered in the near future. A very disappointing end to the trilogy.
I love every bit of this game, I didn't run into any bugs or anything, but the playtime is just too small. I mean the main storyline. Of course there are challenges and stuff, but that's just a filler already rather than another game mode. Very dissapointed with the gameplay time.
When I heard it for the first time, I couldn't believe it. But I went to my friend's house and tried Skyrim on PS3, I loaded his save and was shocked by how laggy the game actually **** fact, it went almost over the point of being playable. If you have a choice, make sure NOT to buy Skyrim for PS3
5 maps for free, how can you possibly say a bad word about it? lol But yeah I'm also happy some of the classics are returning. And the new maps are alright.
Ok, there are just too many fanboys. Yes the graphics are barely changed, Guns still sound like toys, racist campaign, the multiplayer is unchanged, achievements are only for story and spec ops and survival mode is worse than zombies, but the game can still be fun in online multiplayer when you just want an arcade shooter, I personnaly never enjoyed Spec ops, but some people are finding it to be the best thing about CoD franchise. This game is for a certain type of players, it may also be a good starting game if you are new to gaming, but in the end there are games much better than this one.
The most overrated game of this year...surprised ? ^_^ 5 hours main story + 3 hours of coop for 60 $ ?
The puzzles are creative, but still way too easy, GLADOS is annoying, i don't see how people can find her creepy. The voice acting is great, however. The graphics are incredibly outdated, in fact it reminds me of graphics in 2008. o_O Too many fanboys of Valve - too many perfect scores. Perhaps I will never understand what is so great about Valve's games, because to me, they are all recycable garbage on a VERY old engine.
I'm a big fan of TES games, been playing them since Daggerfall
I just wanna say that Skyrim is the best TES game, the best RPG ever, and IMO the best game ever.
I've never been so hyped up for a video game, and Skyrim surpasses my expectations. GOTY 2011
First of all let me put a few things straight, I'm a xbox 360 - PC gamer, and I've played this game at my friend's. But i'd probably say that ps3 is worth buying just for this game (assuming you'll other games in the future of course) Graphics are amazing for the most part, but if you'll look closely you'll see some draw distances and a few graphical glitches. I love the gameplay from A-Z. Multiplayer is amazing for the most part, but there are some things to balance for it to be perfect. I DID NOT finish the story, however I have completed 10 chapters and I absolutely loved it. If you own a ps3 you MUST BUY Uncharted 3
WOW, that game is just SO bad. First of all the story : by far the worst characters in a GTA game, and the worst story as well : Dude comes into another country searching foor another dude who has betrayed him - revenge time! but ends up saving his cousin over and over and over again , by the worst story and characters. Then there are **** like always the graphics are outdated at least by a year. Music on the radio is so bad for the most part that im just driving with radio off - something i have never been doing in a GTA game. People in Liberty City are so pissed,, even if you close by somebody, he'll say "WTF?", which is just completely inappropriate. Car controls are probably the worst in the gaming history. Then there is multi-player: That's the place where i had a little fun running around with my friends and shooting everything that moves, still the game is all hype, and i still don't understand how did it get 98/100
I just love this game, sure the campaign has lots of cliche moments, and the whole campaign is full of racism and nationalism, but hey, every battlefield, call of duty and some other FPS had these types of campaigns, and if you were thinking about buying this game for campaign, you would probably be a **** person, however, Battlefield 3 shines on its stongest part - multiplayer, i've failede to find a glitch in the multiplayer for around 5 hours, even after finding one i had so many great moments, that i would even count it as such a bad thing. The replayablity in infinite, i loved this game over any other Battlefield game i have ever played. Not everything went smoothly of course, it wouldnt be a Battlefield game without server crashing at the first day, but now everything is fine. I will be playing it for a few months after the very last DLC for this game, and i can't believe how many people rated this game lover than 7, as this game has flawless multiplayer, somewhat laggy co-op, and forgettable campaign, when to it comes to final score multiplayer takes 90% of the whole game, that's why it's 9/10
This is one of my favorite games of all time. There are some flaws like the world that doesn't seem to be actually living and some glitches, but it will never ruin the overall experience.
This game game is great in many aspects (graphics, music score, voice acting, TPS gameplay, dialogs and story), however it has a very fake feeling of you having a choice, the game is trying to make you feel like you have a choice, but overall it still leads in the same direction, there are 3 major endings, which makes for a good replayability of the last mission just to see the different endings, but that's all. There no sidequests that may interest you like in Bethesda's RPG's , and after you have completed the main story you dont have much to do with the game unless you are an achievement hunter, but still it's one hell of a ride for around 20-24 ****, and one more thing: it's not an RPG how every one claims it be. It's a TPS (Thirs Person Shooter) with RPG elements.
Let me start off by saying that I agree with those who are saying that The Orange Box is a deal - 5 games in a case. Yeah but these games are just terrible. Team Fortress 2 makes for one of the worst online FPS I've played. The gameplay reminds of Q3 arena but with no fun in it + it is impossible to play this game on a console(it is an okay PC game however) Then, there is Portal. It has 19 and the ending part(would be a spoiler), but all of these chambers are not challenging at all!!! The game takes around an hour to complete! Chambers are not creative compared to what could be done and it's too easy, but you always have to listen that annoying GlaDos. Finally there is Half Life 2 and both add-ons/expansions for it(episode 1 and 2) I found both, the original Half-Life 2 and the Episode 1 to be extremely boring, the plot was awful and, i usually dont mind when the main protagonist is mute, but in this game he NEEDS to speak. Episode 2 was better, i'd even say i liked it, and it was the only good time i had with Orange Box. People are saying it's 5 games for 60$(at launch) , while it is more like 2 games(TF2 and HL2) with 2 add-ons(Episode 1 and 2) and a Mini-game(Portal) IMO it isn't worth 60$ even for 2007, however I picked it up for 9.99$ so I don't feel so bad.
Ok, so first of all this game is great but falsely difficult. The game has a nice feel of scale, but unfortunately the frame rate goes down exactly because of the scale. Dark souls has a very unique feel of accomplishment after beating an enemy you couldn't beat before. The game claims to be difficult but as long as you understand the mechanics, you shouldn't have any problems for the most part. All you need to do is learn enemies pattern and they will become **** case you have a good equipment, it's an RPG after all. The graphics are up-to-date, but everything feels better, once again, because of the scale. Demon's souls was known for its strategic gameplay - i.e. you learned something new after every death, but Dark souls feels a little unfair at times. Controls WILL feel clunky at the beginning, but you just have to accept them before you'll start enjoying the game. For the most part this game needs to be understood by the player, and you CANNOT recommend it to anyone, it's either love or hate, and i love it, but the flaws are just too obvious to give it a 10.
