It's crack. I haven't played a game this addictive in a decade. Go in cold because the discovery is the experience. I want a sequel now. Like right now. Really, I need it.

Been my go to quick game for several weeks. The match making usually seems pretty fair and is always fast. The economy is generous to the point that I wounder how many folk will actually give them any cash. While some deck are obviously stronger than others, good and bad play certainly matters.

Fun new take on tower defense. baddies spawn from set places but upgrade abilities as each level progresses. Although it has rts mechanism, because your defense and the baddies are often in equilibrium states, it often has more of a turn-based feel as you make particular 'moves' to change from one equilibrium position to another. simple but clean graphics. great random reply levels. progression of available troops and defenses.

Just fun. Old school-BG, squad, pausable combat game but with new positional and timing skill-based factors. The graphics are clean and the characters have a nice what I can only think to call steampunk style (though most are magic and sword). As folks have said hard but fair--may battles hang right on the tipping point of success or failure for many rounds.

A bit buggy at present, but once those are fixed, this will be the best 4x space since Masters of Orion 2. The ship design and experimentation is engrossing game in itself.

4 is probably unfair, but I hoped for so much from this game. After less than a month, I entirely stopped playing. I think the short explanation why is the meaningless random loot and the repetitive nature of the end game. The game is pretty and it is easy to drop in and out of games with friends, but it just lacks that loot-crack element to keep me coming back. Fun for a while, but not staying power.

Where is everyone? This is a very enjoyable, casual multiplayer game that reminds me a bit of the sailing combat in Sid Meier's Pirates. It has some persistent elements that allow you to level up and customize your various ships as characters. It's stable. The graphics are clean. I've only had one game with any lag problems. So again where is everyone? The most I've seen logged into the game at anyone time is around a 130 people. Such a small number of players makes the wait for games way too long. I'm scoring the actual game play an 8, but until it gets more people, it's just not a consistent experience. I have my fingers crossed.
