After playing the alpha and the final preview version I am shocked that barely anything changed…this game should not have been released in this state. There are some issues that are beyond a simple patch or update, they would need to rework to entire engine. As for the gameplay, it just feels Arcady and lacks the weight of the attacks in the previous two installments. There are a lot of strange UI and design choices and I can’t help but feel like Relic took the wrong lessons away from the last two games. This release version feels like it needed another year. I’m sure it will get updated and modded but this might be relics last go, and honestly I think it might be a good thing, charging people 60$ for a product that is a lesser version of your previous two games is a bold move.
