First 4 eps better than the back 4. Devolves into a mess with a bloated roster of characters. And the crying... omg the crying... Director obviously hates all of these actors to torture them with forced emotion scenes every 2m
Made it through 3 episodes. It's actually pretty funny with some clever writing, but the whole thing gets taken over by propaganda, forcing some narrative about capitalism and gender roles. That's fine if the arguments presented in the show were good arguments, but they are not.
A bit of a mess. I only survived 1.5 episodes. Humor lands some of the time. Characters lack depth and aren't really believable. Shallow and pointless. Feels like a SNL skit gone too long.
I wanted to like this and tried slogging through the first episode multiple times, but it's just not very good. The acting is ok, the story is ok, the whole thing is just mediocre. Not sure what the critics were smoking for this one.
