I call it 'Grateful Dead Cells'. It's artwork is very cool,. It's intricate, psychedelic, and very trippy. It also has the same gameplay feel as Dead Cells. A lot of love was poured into this game, highly recommended!

Worse than Diablo 3. To my tastes, Diablo 2 is easily the best of the series. Pick up the remastered version of that game instead is my advice.

Ctrl Alt Ego is a fantastic puzzle/rpg mashup. It immediately reminded me of the old Infocom game Suspended, as well as the Amiga game Captive. As with those games, you basically jump between multiple robots, in multiple locations, to accomplish tasks. You can find various upgrades to your main robot as you progress, by exploring the environments and dealing with enemies. There are usually multiple solutions to the game's obstacles. Ctrl Alt Ego is really well done and hard to categorize because it's so unique among modern games, but I highly recommend giving some time to the lengthy Steam demo. I tried it when it first came out, and uninstalled before really giving the game a chance. I recently tried it again, and after making some effort to learn the mechanics, Ctrl Alt Ego really grew on me. Highly recommended.

This game caught me by surprise. It's a FPS/Metroidvania style game that a lot of fun to play, in fact it's one of the best 'retro' shooters released so far. Pretty much everything Night Dive studios decides to 'modernize' ends up being pretty good. Highly recommended!

What an excellent game. It's not as polished as Diablo, but it's every bit as fun. Great gameplay, excellent variety of loot, endless build possibilities, neat skills tree. I had this in my inventory before sitting down and giving it a chance. Just fantastic, addictive, and the price is right. If you liked Diablo, Grim Dawn etc. you won't be disappointed.

What a neat game, I give Ubisoft credit for coming up with something truly unique. The combat is fun, the puzzle dungeons are really interesting and clever, story is decent. Crafting is pretty basic, and enemies don't drop loot (you get it from chests mainly), and the narration is a little too 'whimsical' for my tastes, but overall I rate this game way above average. I would actually rate this more like an 8.7.

Cyberpunk is sort of ok, I guess, but I wish they had made The Witcher 4 instead.

This is a solid game, with a very memorable story. I generally don't play games like this, but decided to try it when I didn't have anything else to play, and ended up hooked. Nice graphics, some interesting game mechanics, and interesting locales keeps the game fresh throughout. Highly recommended; this one surprised me!

It's an OK game, but there's too much jumping around. The graphics are nice, the enemies are varied, but to me, this isn't Doom because of the mechanics. Doom 2016 was WAY better, making this a disappointing follow-up.

This game looks pretty cool, the movement and controls are fluid, and I like the game world. It really looks like the type of game I'd like. However, FromSoft games are just too difficult for some people such as myself. I don't really know why this company refuses to have difficulty settings for those of us that don't have the patience/aptitude for this type of game. I appreciate that some people enjoy the satisfaction of beating difficult games, but Sekiro (and the Dark Souls series) just aren't my cup of tea as presented.

This is a wonderful game that is suitable for just about every type of gamer. I tried the demo a few months ago and didn't really give it a chance, but I decided to try it again now that's it's been officially released, and this is one of those games that gives me hope for the future of computer gaming. In Supraland, you basically run around in a colorful, minimalist world, trying to solve puzzles. You gain access to new areas as you purchase powers and find upgrades. You'll gain a double, then a triple jump that allows you to access previously unexplored areas higher up. Every nook and cranny offers surprises, and exploration of the environment definitely pays off. The combat is pretty basic and really sort of frustrating early on, but your sword gets upgrades helping to fend off enemies more easily, and eventually you find a gun, which also benefits from upgrades, making it more and more powerful. Combat definitely becomes more fun as you go. Starting off, the introductory area you explore is small, sufficient to get you used to the game mechanics, but around the 2 hour mark it REALLY starts to open up and eventually gets very expansive. There's lots of Portal, some first person shooter, among other influences. I'm at around the 10 hour mark, and the puzzles have become very challenging, not impossible, giving great satisfaction when a solution is discovered. All the while the game will dangle the mystery of unexplored areas that you can see, but can't get to yet. There's lots of jumping around and battling enemies, but the focus on the game is on the puzzles. Movement from area to area is helped with portals for fast travel that you discover as you go. Revisiting earlier areas with new powers, allows you to find more upgrades and secrets. I'm not particularly good at jumping/platform type games, but I never found this title overly difficult or frustrating. Supraland oozes creativity and is one of the best indie games I've every played. It's available on Steam, but you can also buy it directly from the developer website. Also, Steam has a demo, and that same demo is also available to download from the game's website. This one is special, folks. Highly recommended.
