Uno6

There's not much to say about UNO. It has many offshoots, but the original can still be fun from time to time. This game implements everything that UNO offers without going crazy with new rules or gameplay. At $7, Gameloft knows people will buy it despite the development cost probably being half of any of their other games. To add insult to injury, there isn't even any download play; everyone that wants to play locally needs a copy. It's like if everyone needed to buy an UNO deck to play, and Gameloft knows you will even at the 700 points price.

Airport Mania: Non-Stop Flights7
Jun 13, 2011
This is the complement to First Flight, as it disposes of the level-based playing in favor of a more arcade-style infinite play. What starts out easy enough can quickly spiral out of control as you literally run out of places to park planes. Upgrades need to be bought carefully to keep the chaos under control. If you've done everything in First Flight and want more, you've basically fallen right into Lemon Games's marketing tactic.

Airport Mania: First Flight7
Jun 13, 2011
A very simple strategy game. Land the plane, move it to the terminal, repair/refuel if necessary, send it packing. And yet, what springs forth from this simplicity is a rather addicting game. My only regret is the length of this game. With each "level" being about five minutes long, it only takes a few hours to complete the whole thing, probably because they want you to buy Non-Stop Flights.

This game is a lot like Streets of Rage, not only in its gameplay, but in that you'll want to take to the streets in a fit of rage after playing. The CPU players are absolutely relentless; unless you know how to pull off combos, they'll simply shrug off your attacks and knock you back repeatedly. Not only that, since B is jump and X is pick up item, I constantly find myself reversing the two. The control scheme is completely backwards to what I expect it to be. The only saving grace of this game is that only one person needs to waste their money on it thanks to Download Play.

TrackMania Turbo (2011)7

Even though a lot has been stripped out from Trackmania United, it still retains the core gameplay. In many tracks, though, the framerate suffers tremendously. Despite this, if you're a fan of Trackmania United and have a Nintendo DS, this is worth at least trying.

Although varied in its missions, the casual nature of it shows in that even someone with a modicum of skill can quickly ace their way to platinum class. Don't expect this to be all that difficult. It also happens to be one of the few titles that makes good use of the depth effect.

Fly around with the circle pad? Ok. "Ping" enemies with the stylus? Ok. But wait...I'm left-handed. Not to mention the very first level is impossible. The enemies fly way too quickly to catch up. Each one shoots three bullets in each direction. Unless you get lucky and manage to ping AND kill each one, you're going to get riddled with bullets, which are tiny by the way, making them impossible to keep track of in addition to pings and enemies. You may be invincible while using your power, but that doesn't last long, especially if you don't manage to hit anything. If you're on the fence about this one, take my advice and skip it or wait for it to be available for rent. This is $40 I wish I didn't waste. In reply to Tanasinn: How can he play level 2 if he can't get past level 1? I'm right in the same boat as he is; the minute I do well -at all-, I run out of power and basically can only just sit there and wait to die yet again.
