Evergate is a puzzle-platformer with a unique mechanic called the Soulflame. You shoot the Soulflame from your character through a crystal and onto a white surface to break and activate the power of that crystal. There's many different crystals allowing for interesting puzzles. And while the game is more puzzle-focused than most other platformers, the crystals combined with the Instant Fire feature offer fast-paced movement options which make the platforming itself super fun. I've played the game for 200+ hours and still find myself enjoying the gameplay. If you're interested in trying out a new puzzle-platformer with a good replay value, I'd highly recommend this game.
