Straying away from 'Demon Souls' and moving foward onto Dark Souls, their first game clearly gathered up enough success to not only move onto XBOX 360, but to gain a huge following too. And for good reason! This game is nothing insane, not the game of the year, or the holy grail or anything... But its a fun journey. Lots of customization, and began to run the SoulsBorne tropes, like "The Yellow Mist", and really damn difficult bosses. This is a hugely influential game, and deserves to get a high score.
As far as the 'SoulsBorne' franchise goes, their first entry, debuting exclusively on the PS3, is a strong game for its time
It has enough difficulty to be hard, but has too much quality to rage quit.
Although, there were bound to be annoying areas and weird bugs. As they were trying something different, AND this is from before 2010.
But as far as the technology and gameplay goes, this game is good.
