Not a **** alpha/Beta Review - This game is worth buying for any PC gamer, and definitely worth the price. That said, I feel this game, given a couple more months in development, could have really been one of the greatest of all time, but a couple hours in, it feels like the story goes a bit flat, and there is a lot of elements of the game that if expanded, would have been epic. I gave this an 8/10 -2 for the basic PC game elements that it was missing, such as windowed mode, and that a lot of the scenes and quests are still bugged after release.

This game should be in the 5$ price range. The loading screen looks like a high school kid's attempt at a Photoshop image, with its only redeeming factor being the decent intro art. Animations and graphics are what I expect from early 2000 games, the story line is vague and confusing, and game play feels repetitive and tedious. What really bothers me though is how they manage to make a space combat game so dark, depressing, and for lack of a better word, lame. How hard is it to make a cool looking spaceship? And why does every space station, planet and every corner of space have to look dark and dismal?

Decent game I would give a 9/10, but no windowed mode and extremely long load times? Cmon, that's the most basic of elements and taught in game design 101, why? Along with that, I have not seen loading screens this long since the mid 90s, my computer as of mid 2013 is the highest of home computer standards, yet I have to wait sometimes up to 3 mins for a level to load.
