This defines the Yoshi franchise, this is an addicting, innocent and lovely game that I think all gamers should experience. This is by far one of the most creative/original games I've seen on the switch. The collectibles in this game keep making me want to come back to the levels to find them all, personally, I haven't got all of the collectibles myself, but I have finished the main storyline. This is one of the best Yoshi games out there for new players and returning players. In most of my reviews, I've pointed out that I don't care about the graphics, but the character in this game (Baby Bowser) looks exactly like Bowser Jr. without the bib and it's not his original style for Baby Bowser and that kind of disappointed me and it felt like the developers were being lazy with his character model, but that's just a minor fault of the developers. Also, the cutscenes are short, simple, and interactive and the way the bosses form is just brilliant, it takes you back to when you were a kid and you imagined every piece of furniture/scraps/machines/art/everyday items as an entity that had a personality attached to it. This game is so crafty and distracts you from how the real world is, the music is catchy and pleasant. I've also wondered why black and white Yoshi are not in this game? Overall an amazing experience, especially the Poochy and Poochy Pups mechanic that just makes the game a lot more fun. The multiplayer kind of changes the pace of things, but you get a laugh out of it. Especially the riding on each other part, that cracked me up, like Yoshi attack ride! Also, those mini-games are on point! Satisfying game.
This game is extremely boring! All you have to do is run around and shoot people, nothing original or special. Also, what's with the dead meme dances? I was told I would make friends with this game but all it did was tear friendships. Can't go to school without hearing "Fortnite" am I right? This game is just absolutely horrible if you want to you can go try it out your self, the game is free. There is also a story mode which I was excited about until I realized all that you did was shoot zombies AND you had to pay $40.00 for it. There was also a "season 5" or whatever, I really thought this was a video game and not a TV show. I played this on the PC as well and these 10-year-olds were screaming into their mic calling me a "noobie". Terrible fanbase already. If you don't like Fortnite then you will get bullied for your opinion like me. It's sad and it's true. I don't know why people like this game! All the Fortnite YouTubers just do clickbait and that's it! There are "skins" as well and you have to pay using "V BUCKS" you can buy the lowest amount of V BUCKS possible and you won't have enough for the lowest priced skin! As you can see here, the game is overrated. It's really not worth your time. And if you do play it, just don't waste your real life money.
I played this at my friend's house, and overall it's mostly just shooting other plants or zombies. It's really boring and I don't know why some of my friends like this game. They have become addicted to it and asked each other every day if they got any new characters. But now they are starting to get bored of it, and only one of them still has an addiction after the star wars battlefront game or whatever it was called... anyway, this game is just boring overall. There is nothing other to do than just shoot other people, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS.
This game brought back memories when I was younger playing Super Mario Galaxy with my sisters. I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of Super Mario. I get really excited about every new game!
