SO GLAD they brought this show back. The new season hasn't missed a beat, and it's as funny as ever. I enjoyed the first two episodes immensely (other than the noticeable absence of Dr. Cox). Eaaaaaaagle!
You don't have to read too many negative reviews to see what kind of stupidity lives among us. When you see their stupid terms like "woke" and them simply degrading a poor actress, who gives an excellent performance, you realize there's not much hope for humanity anymore. Ignore the bad reviews and watch the show. These people are idiots
Absolutely a DISGRACE. And this is coming from a HUGE Star Wars fan who has watched/read everything…up to this point. This is final straw. I just finished the finale and, as usual, the entire series was just one big tease of ONE major character EVERYONE wanted to see but all we got was “hands”. Horrible story. Horrible writing. Horrible pacing. Disney can try their best and label us as racist reviews but this has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with race but EVERYTHING to do with awful storytelling and baiting fans. I HATE this show and DISNEY has finally convinced me to stop watching their garbage they keep spewing at us poor fans. Utter disgrace
Really fantastic! Don't listen to the nay-sayers. They're butt-hurt boomers who like tossing "woke" around or so-called diehard fans who throw a sissy fit if the show deviates from the original source in ANY way. Bottom line is the show is well casted, the music is taken DIRECTLY from the games in most places and the stories are very outlandish like you'd expect from a FALLOUT story. They nailed it.
A great dystopian show that Arnett carried a great length with his AMAZING voice acting, but a great deal of the credit goes to Anthony Mackie who kills it as John Doe! Also, Stephanie Beatriz was born to play this role!
The show COMPLETELY backpedaled on Mando and Baby Yoda and i'm very dissapointed to the start of season **** I LOVED THE FIRST 2 SEASONS! It doesn't make sense that Mando is crawling back to his stupid, asinine religion after he took his helmet off to say goodbye to his buddy. The show completely ruined that turning point for the character and made the finale for season 2 meaningless. But **** can't lose out on that Grogu merchandising, right Disney??
Amazing. As a huge LOU fan, they nailed it in every aspect. Don't listen to the people who say it was miscast -- a lot of them piss their pants, scared if there is even a HINT of a different shade to the character's original color. Quite pathetic, really.
The writing in this is SO much better than what we had in Boba and Obi-Wan. Very impressed with this and glad they're going in a more adult direction with it.
I initially praised this show....then I saw the rest of it. Awful. Disgrace to Tolkien's memory. Horribly written. Looks pretty and that is about it. I'd encourage EVERYONE not to waste their time with season 2. I won't be.
Amazing first episode. No, there wasn't a whole lot of action, but it wasn't needed! The characters were well written and it was beautifully shot. I've been burned by star wars series before *cough* (BOBA FETT) *cough*, but so far this series is headed in the RIGHT direction!
It's rare I get so hyped for a show that I scream for one of the characters to triumph *cough* SAM/HAWK!. Well written and acted if you can get past the occasional cheese.
The people review bombing this are truly pathetic. I guarantee you these are the same people who are pissed that we now have a black dwarf and elf on screen and they are now claiming this as "woke" television. The fact of the matter is that the first two episodes were amazing. Those claiming this isn't true to the source material have probably never even heard of the "Silmarillion" -- they're going based purely off the movies Jackson did. Bottom line: Great first two episodes with reasonable pacing that helped establish the world and characters and the stakes involved.
