This game is not perfect by any means but it is a great game. The voice acting, quests, crafting, ship building and overall gameplay are fun. The first few hours goes by a little slow, as this is a new franchise. If you have the attention span of an adult, you can manage. If you have the attention span of a child with ADD well, that's your own issue. From the beginning BGS explained this game and how the planets are engineered and designed. The planet is built as you approach and the co tent is generated by the game. They never once mentioned that this game would be a space sim. People lit up this game because it "looked like No Man's Sky" theb lit it up again because "its not like No Man's Sky". This game simulates real distance between planets. These peoole don't know what the actual distance a light second is (186,000 miles) ot an Astronomical Unit (93,000,000 miles). No amount of engine power can travel that distance without some sort of jump drive. In my 50 hours of playing this game I have come across a massive amount of quests. Anything from side jobs like cargo, debt collecting, surveying and civilian transporting to faction quests, which I am essentially a space police officer right now. The main quest has been awesome so far, even though I've gotten side tracked with hours of side quests. There is not enough time in the day to scratch the surface of this game. I literally just got done being an undercover agent for the UC military and it was by far one of the best questlines I've ever experienced in a BGS game. The space flight and space battles are awesome in this game. I haven't even gotten a chance to touch the crafting yet, which I look forward to doing when I can. As far as loading screens go yes, there are a lot of them. There was also a lot of Fallout and Elder Scrolls yet a game that loads Skyrim size and Fallout for size maps (thousands of them) loading screens are an issue all of a sudden? The loading screens are two seconds, if that. As for my score, I'm going to give it a 9. This game is by no means perfect butnhaving spent as much time with is as I have, a 9 is more than enough for this game that's not only great but will get even greater. I can't wait to see the future of this game.
