A silly visual novel with minigames the animations are cartoons and with cheesy humor don't understand the praise. Game is actually very linear your choices have little impact of the story outcome. I do not like the idea of this game. There are to be 8 episodes, like in a short series by Netflix or HBO. Feels so cheap
Yea well a very mid game the story so far doesn't take you in but they did ok with design. Save your 70 dollars. I was sacrificing myself out of boredom of what to play. But im just sort of bored in what goes on in the game. Nothing special and the graphics are meh
Bad graphics with poorly designed characters that talk like clowns they are not funny. Abysmal stupid plot. Badly optimized for PC. Don't waste your money for this.
Unbalanced complicated combat with many useless buffs where enemies can be easy or extremely hard especially from Act 2 and later and the game does not warn you about level difficulty.. Useless chit-chat with huge texts to read i want to play a game and not read an essay for freak sakes. Spac.e ship battles are also uninspiring there is nothing epic about them. Not the RPG i was hoping it's like a game made in Excel with spreadsheets
The Alters may be ambitious in its effort to marry base-building and survival with a strong narrative but unfortunately it falls flat in several areas the sub-par exploration that lives a lot to be desired the frustrating resource management gameplay and flat dialogues that breaks immersion. It's all too flat the more questions The Alters poses, the less it has to say, and it's a game that insists on telling, never showing. From uninspiring, frustrating exploration to a surface-level story, I can't see this being for anyone other than those who love deadlines in games and for those who love a suffering gameplay based on trial and error and save scumming.
It took them 26 years to take a huge step back from "Tiberian Sun". Units do not shoot while moving there are no hovering mechanics it's a 2025 game and they can't do the simplest thing how on earth is this possible?. Having to micromanage the abilities of every unit in real time dumbest idea from this developer. Pathfinding is way worse than old games and units sometimes stuck in map objects. Turrets are weak for defending your base they need to shoot more than 5 times just to destroy a helicopter. A helicopter has almost the same armor with a tank in this game LMAO this is ridiculous!! There are no civilian pedestrians all city maps feel empty and no partial unit destruction at all. Some features i listed above were done in 1999 and done on Pentium 166 MHz and in this new game they are missing. I completed the Dynasty campaign did not like it the story was very stupid and the whole explanation for everything happening in the Tempest universe was childish and i am not a child sorry. Also enemy units always spawn from the edge of the map this is the cheapest way to make the game feel "competitive". Command and Conquer Tiberium Sun is a far better game.
