I forced my friend to watch this entire show in one sitting, he loved it. Fleabag is an unethical, cynical, reckless, and irresponsible woman, she is, however, incredibly relatable. Her absurd behavior truly is what we all want to do but can't, our deepest impulses. Phoebe Waller-Bridge's ability to convey this accuracy to real-life awkward, sad, and lonely experiences is mindblowing. This show has a way of sticking with you for a very long time after the first watch. It is comforting on one hand, and heartbreaking on the other, with the occasional gut punch of some of the best comedy to come from England since Monty Python. Season 2 Episode 1 is the best first episode of a season ever made, with the whole episode essentially being a dinner scene, it constantly keeps you on your toes, refreshes your memory on the tone of the series subtly, and shows the passing of time from season 1 to season 2 with such ease. I will always come back to this show. Every friend I make in the future will be forced to watch this entire show in one sitting, and they will love it too.
